@TOTALLYAWESOMECARPET welcome ❤️ and we have about 50 percent American viewers so do both imperial and metric and our cookbook also has metric and imperial.
You certainly can in a Halogen cooker/air fryer , halogen cookers are air fryers and you can see exactly what your cooking at all stages without keep opening the drawer . I cook ready meals 2/3 times a week in my halogen air fryer and there’s more room in it than an air fryer. No need to defrost just follow the cooking times and temperature on the packet for frozen …I’m 86 so this is a big help …PS i have ordered a Cosori air fryer but I can’t see that it will be much improvement on my halogen , but it’s all good fun , thanks for showing us.
the HUGE advantage over microwave is: you don't nuke your food. The higher the MW power, the more it depletes any goodness that might have existed in the first place.... (my Ol' boy was an electrician - and wouldn't have one in the house)
Great video showing it can be done. Most of time I'd use microwave as bit quicker at around 11 mins. I presume about the cottage pie one I make my own in the foil cartons and then freeze them. Is it OK to put the foil in air fryer And I'd presume if I defrosted it first then I would reduce the cook time to 20 mins instead of 40 yes Thanks
Do i need to do the 120c 10 mins and then the 180c for 15 mins? Or could i not just do the 180c for the whole 25mins. Ive got the frozen chinese chickien curry from iceland. Thanks love your vids ❤❤❤
Yes start with my recommended defrost time and temp. Then if there are any items that very quickly cook ie yorkshires then remove. Then do 10 mins st 180c or 360f then check if its nearly cooked and adapt.
Hi, we had a look for your recipe books which came up on Amazon for . €19.67 for one book plus postage €3 seems a bit expensive, so we will continue towatch you on youtube. thanks for the vids. we are just learning.
@@patriciacarleton1385 all our expat readers from France, Spain, Portugal etc get theirs from Amazon UK as it works out cheaper or they get the Kindle version.
I feel like a complete idiot. I've not long had a ninja foodie dual zone 9.5 and I tried doing a ready meal curry from aldi. I pierced the film lid as requested and cooked it for a little less but when I went to check the film lid had stuck to the heating element at the top. Now every time I use it its smells of burnt plastic 😢😢😢
@@Recipethis I've learnt it's all try and try till u get it right. So if something takes 55 mins in oven at 180 il probably air fry at 160/70 for 27 mins and then just keep checking. Thanks though love your vids honestly your a big help. You should have your own TV show !!❤️😂
