To me a sneakerhead is somebody who has the knowledge of any given sneaker. From the history, to materials, all the down to the influence of the shoe. You don't have to own the shoes to be a sneakerhead imo. Owning the shoes is displaying the passion you have for what you're knowledgeable about. It adds to being a sneakerhead but doesn't make a person one. Just like you don't have to own a bunch of antique paintings to be an art connoisseur.
Eh, I respectfully disagree. There are many folks that just stay in one lane. For example, Chris from Weartesters knows every single thing about Jordans but doesn’t know the same about New Balance or ASICS, but he’d obviously still be considered a sneakerhead. I appreciate your sentiment though.
I hear you. I think you're going into a bit of a rabbit hole though. Because by your logic, to me, you're opening up the door to the whole world of footwear in general. Dress shoes, boots, and maybe even heels. Knowing more about a particular brand versus others doesn't take away from the expertise when it comes to understanding materials, influence and such. Everyone has their own interpretation of something though, so hey it's all a matter of opinion.
I like them but I might pass. I just don’t have a lot of blue in my wardrobe even tho I’m a Dodgers fan, this blue doesn’t match unfortunately. It’s too bright. I wish the blue was darker.
imo a sneakerhead is a person who is passionate about sneakers knows their history & buys a sneaker because they like them a fake sneakerhead is one who buys based on hype & will call them bad sneakers if they have a bad resell value or they're not hyped.
Sneaker head is collector sneakers that really wants for various reasons & has knowledge of the story behind making of sneaker. These look good on feet, decent suede. Nice sneaker wear with proper fit. 🔥
