Air Jordan 12 Retro "Playoff" (2022): Review & On-Feet

It is probably going to be the most important shoe that I purchased this year. Same elementary school memories... but during that time I never had the chance to buy any sneakers because we were broke. And only saw these beautifully on my classmates' feet. When I discovered that they were THE Air Jordans of the great Michael Jordan, my sneaker enthusiasm started from there. I still could remember that feeling of jealousy, but it fueled me to work hard throughout life. Long story short, I finally got my own pair today from the store. And nothing is sweeter than rewarding yourself with all that hardwork. Thanks for reviewing these Sean.

Does the carbon fiber shank plate look darker on these than the OGs? Seems like it to me …

These released this past Saturday here in Chile, I’m currently on holiday and we were that day in a place with no signal or internet. Luckily we went to another area and I got online to see if there were any pairs left and to my surprise they had full size run available. I ordered my pair and I will pick it up when I return home next week. This is my favorite pair of 12 and I always dreamed on having a pair of these back in the day when MJ wore them on court. CAN CONFIRM! Go HALF a size down on these. They run on the long side and leather on them stretch over time for wide feet folk.

I have to stop watching reviews on this shoe. I told myself I was passing on this release. Lol. The more I see the shoe, the more I’m leaning towards trying my hand at a pair.

I love the Jordan 1's and 11's but the 12's are a must have as well. Being a og at 51 I was fortunate enough to cop all the original Jordan 12 colorways back in the day. Glad I was able to cop a new pair on the sneakers app. Great video and review!😎👍

5:10 . Seems more like a air sole unit. They do the squeaky shit after a while. Been wanting those folks at Nike to put a true zoom air in all the Jordan’s since they claimed to remaster them. Imagine Jordan 4’s with zoom air in the forefoot…

So this was my first pair of Jordan’s when I was high school. I always been trying to get it back since. Finally got my hands on it for This release in 2022 got 2 pairs lol. Today I tried it on cause I didn’t want to wear it because I waited so long to get it back lol. Im not sure if needs to break in or what but from what I remembered I feel like the ones I got in 04 I believe was way more comfortable. I feel like Jordan quality been dropping in past years. Growing up I don’t recall any imperfections. But in past years I’ve been noticing imperfections and quality issues do y’all think the same?

how do they fit? i'm normally 8.5 in air max's ... my aj12 playoff lows feel like the 8.5 are a size small????...

The retro 12s is the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned, despite being a bit clunky, but they look great on feet. 10/10 sneaker for me.

Great review as always Sean Quick question, How do these fit in comparison to the Royalty 12s? I got a size 10 in the royalty’s and while I feel a bit of extra room length wise, I actually feel like it’s rather snug width wise. I’m hoping as I wear them more they might break in and loosen a bit width wise but I’m wondering if the playoffs are the same story?

These shoes are designed after the Japanese flag of the Rising Sun ascension. The Rising Sun Ascension is the national flag used by Japan when it invaded Korea. Do not buy these shoes. They does not like AJ12.
