These are underrated and look more like a flip of the playoff 12's to me rather than the taxis, but I feel it really has nothing to do with Taxi which is an orangish yellow - - resembling the color of taxi cabs. Oh well I copped and I will feets these
Since I have more than 10 pairs of the 12, I would say they are very beautiful in style, with high performance chassis but terrible in lock down unless you are a high-instep. I am really fascinated by the stylish looks of 12s except those of weird colorways.
Cherry is a dumb nickname, nothing to do with the design or the shoe box label. The 12 is a Japanese theme shoe, and it's obvious Tinker was matching the bulls colorway with the Japanese flag (Hinomaru) which is white and red, that's why I call them Japan 12.
I am a big fan of the J12.....but the way JB keeps releasing these "almost there" colour blockings of late it's almost enough to turn me off the model. I wish they would venture away from the black-white-red parameters and give us some interesting colours.
Got a set as part of a gift few weeks ago. Put them on and actually didn’t look to bad 😆 first time wearing white socks in over a decade. Still wear black socks pretty much always though
