Arguably the most popular Air Jordan 17 colorway of all time could be returning, with Sole Retriever reporting that the "Lightning" colorway is making its way back in 2024.
According to @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the rumored "Lightning" Jordan 17 Low retro will drop on February 10, 2024, priced at $250. This legendary sneaker was first released in 2002 and famously worn by Michael Jordan during the NBA All-Star Game that year. The 2024 reissue will mark the second retro release of the "Lightning" Jordan 17 Low, following SoleFly's unique take on the colorway in their 2018 collaboration.
As of now, Jordan Brand has yet to officially announce the release details for the "Lightning" Air Jordan 17 Low retro. Stay tuned for the latest updates and official confirmations!

Being an avid collector since atleast ‘93, these are 🔥🔥🔥. Most people that say they are “trash”, can’t relate cuz they were either not born or super young and didn’t live the real MJ days. Working at an Athletes Foot shoe start before joining the Air Force in 2002, seeing these in hand and the suitcase alone will change folks minds! This is amazing that they are hitting on some of the presentation that we used to love back in the day. Definite cop!!! 🔥🔥

It’s crazy how people can fake love a shoe just because everybody else want them(who also fake love the shoe). I remember a time when mfs HATED the 17’s and even went as far as to say any Jordan after 13 or 14 aren’t real Air Jordan’s. I like the blue peel sticker. That blue hint helps the shoe pop more with some contrast. Also blue and yellow is a good combo especially as a “lightning”

They should have put a paper that looked like a cd but had a QR code that took you to an exclusive site with stuff that would have been on the cd today. They should do the same with retro cards but have a companion app that lets you scan codes in the box to add the shoes to your digital locker to compare with your sneakerhead friends and maybe a point system of some sort. Nike needs me.

These are still dope. I remember having the white and blue the white and red and the black pair of 17’s and all of those came with the briefcase. Then getting the lightning 17 which came in a regular box and the sneakers came with a dust bag.
