You should try hitting the suede with a dry magic eraser once the cleaning is done, not only does it help remove any left over surface dirt and discoloration, it also does an amazing job at resetting the nap just as a medium brush would. I always include this step in my suede cleaning because it seems to help no matter what.
Watching this with my 4yo daughter: "I feel sorry for him because he has to clean both of the shoes, and he's already cleaned one shoe, and he's did so much hard work." 😂 keep going, Vic
I never got what people gained from saying there the first to comment on a vid! You would think people got paid the way they race to be first in the comment section 😂
When you watch this video you can tell it took hours for him to get it to where it needed to be, so it was a hard one to give accurate paint mixtures for. Thanks for your feedback though.
I use your products as they are the gold standard in sneaker cleaning... I feel like the verbiage used has changed. Like in most of the restorations prior to the pandemic Vic would tout The germ fighting bacteria killing aspect of the product. But when the pandemic started there was no more mention of it up until I want to say this video is there any information you can give me regarding this thank you so much
Thanks for reaching out. On older shoes that we buy used from eBay we like to mention the bacteria fighting properties of the cleaner. You never know what a shoe has on it when you're buying used! Always a good idea to give used shoes a thorough clean.
@Nicole Meija It's likely a liability issue. Their product likely doesn't kill ALL bacteria and germs, so they don't want to imply that and potentially open themselves up to a lawsuit.

Vick, I have some 90’ converse new from ebay but there seems to be something weird with the midsole(bad repaint) and seems to need a fresh repaint. Is it ok if I use acetone to clean up the bad area and repaint. Where can I find the tools to repaint? What are you using.
Then shoes aren’t even beat! 😂 did homie wear them 4 times. And y’all splashed some dirt on it to make it look dirty? The bottom soles aren’t even black like normal ones would be from walking.
