True blues originally released in 1988. He only wore the ogs on court for the nba vs USA game. Been rereleased like 4 times now. He wore both while playing for the wizards. True blues had the Nike air on the back, his pe had the jump man logo.
True Blues originally came out in 1988. It's an OG colorway. So they weren't designed for the Wizards. The sneaker was first worn by Michael Jordan during his return from a foot injury in the 1987-1988 season and the 1988 All-Star Game.

The True Blue 3s are an original colorway from 1988. Had nothing to do with the Wizards, a team that wasn’t the Wizards (previously the Bullets) until 1997.

True blue 3s had some of the trashest quality materials lol. I remember being so stoked for that release back during thanksgiving weekend in 2016 i think. Then got my pair and had my first taste of disappointment as a sneaker head
My favourite thing about the Wizard 3s, the sock liner, it's silky smooth. The cotton sock liner on the other 3s dig into my feet, it can get uncomfortable. One thing I dont like about it is that the colour bleeds way too easily. My white socks and the white laces have hints of blue on it already... I got the last pair of the Wizard 3s from a local online store here in the UK, talk about getting lucky. Lol.
Definitely snagging these on Saturday the true blues are dope but these I like more simply because of the metallic copper plus i have a few Washington Nationals Wizards crossover new era fitteds and they all have metallic copper on them as well so the combos are gonna be crazy!
Air Jordan Logo on the back tab was the reason why people were hating on the 3s. Nike Air holds the better value because thats how it was back in the OG days. People are just not buying Jordans in General because of the price how it skyrocketed. Jordan is doing so people don't resell the sneakers. Which sucks for the OG sneakerheads who actually wants a pair and now they are $200+ preforated LOL Per For Rated!
These and the thunder 4s are on my radar def need both, jordan brand been doin the 3s great lately with the new shape and the 4s just cause it’s a classic colorway if I had to pick one though it’s def these 3s, it’s such a clean colorway imo and with the new shape they look great compared to the 2016 true blues. We need a updated black cement 3 with that new shape ever since they updated the 3s I noticed how ugly that puffy tongue and boxy toebox is I ended up selling my pair of bc3s
so i ended up passing on the 3s for now, their still on my list but i feel like the prices will keep going down on these and ill be able to snag them below retail for a moment if not theyre going for about retail anyways. Im going to focus on the thunder 4s for now since i got 3 pairs of 3s and only 2 pairs of 4s rn (great ones tho pine sbs and AMM 4s) and id like a nice pair of black 4s to wear a bunch, w that being said im still going for the wizard 3s for maybe a good price just after i secure the 4s hopefully
Had to sell my true blues, the padding on the heel made my foot jam up into the toe box. Only pair of Jordan’s I’ve ever sold. Looking forward to getting a pair of these this weekend!
These going to rise much like the Muslin frfr. Probably quicker though once retailers completely drain their “restock” reserves. The Wizards were just sandwiched between two major releases, not to mention all the shock drops and so it flew by the wayside. I don’t know if this was an intentional move by Nike to reward the “true blue” collectors so to speak with an obtainable pair of shoes that without a doubt will rise in value in the near future. The presentation alone is classic.

I'm pretty sure the leather quality on the Wizards is WAAAAAY better than the True Blues! Mine had HORRIBLE leather quality! The leather on the Lucky Green 3's is the best I've seen in a long time! I wore mine today (with Force Fields in) and the leather is very sturdy. I'm hoping these are the same!
carinal, trueblue, wizard are the only 3's with the full line on it. and those are the best color ways on 3'ss lol. tbh all the leather sucks there all the saem jsut diff cow skins
Those True Blues was one of the worst back then for many reasons. They consistenly use that cardboard leather on their standard GR 3s still to this day. Only reason why the quality better on the Lucky Green 3s is cuz it's a limited women's release. The quality the same on those Lucky Green as on my Laser Orange 3s. The quality on women's 3s are slightly always better

@@shorty1103 nope. True blues is an original 1988 colorway. I’m sure they retro’d while he was on the wizards but the colorway was not made for that run. It was apart of the original lineup of Jordan 3 colorways
Do the wizards run the same as the reimagined 3s I swear in past 3 models I'm a 10.5 and when I recently got the reimagined I was swimming in a 10.5 size swapped for a sz 10 and those fit perfect and now idk what size to try for the wizards
How do they fit now? I wanted to get my son a pair for Xmas, he's a 11½. I got myself the reimagine 3s, I'm a 11 and had to get a 10½ which are waaaay better then the 11. Thanks
😂 exactly but i prefer these over those Cardinals. QC on those Cardinals was so bad. We dont get enough Jordan with a Blue colorway so these offrip better than those Cardinals
Do you ever feel like your shoes look too small? I was a 8.5 for a while and I noticed that 3s especially looked stupid small on feet I didn’t like how they looked at all, now I’m a 9.5 and I feel like that’s where they start to look normal lol even a size 9 looked too small to me I ended up selling my unc 3s because they were a 9 and I didn’t like how they looked on feet now all my shoes are a 9.5-10 and they look so much better on feet Imo
@@c0pph457 idk probably wasnt done growing ig noticed it end of sophmore year slowly going up like half sizes every year or so until i got up to my dads size so i figured im done thats my forever size true 9.5 bigger shoes i go half sz down for a snugger fit and so they dont look that big when its an already big shoe, and 10 for the shoes with just fucked up tight sizing like most adidas imo
it really sucks because the first shoe i grew out of after puberty was the black cement 3s bro i thought i had my forever shoe size already since it hadnt chnaged in the longest. I had those shoes fit comfortable for a solid 3 maybe 4 months before i literally couldnt wear them anymore and it sucked because those were and still are my favorite colorway of every jordan black cemnt/breds. i got the new white cements and theyre so fire but not as much as the black cements were to me. but now ever since we got the new shape and tongue for the 3s and 4s, i started really disliking the old style tongues and blocky toeboxs on the 3s, the 4s can get away with it even with their own fcked up tongue but the 3s look so ugly to me now, i wouldve bought another BC3 in my size but the prices are too high for a shape i really dislike. Im actually thinking of getting another pair of the WC3s to send them off and get customed to BC3s
They jacked the height on the elephant print on your toe box of that pair on the left shoe. QC is still trash by Jordan. How are they doing this with the prices they are charging.
