Imagine being a family who's son or daughter died, and then Nike approaches you and goes 'we want to release this travis scott shoe and you'll get some proceeds' 1. You'd be like 'What the fuck, you want to come at me in a time of grieving and ask me to sign off on you profiting off release and putting some proceeds towards us? Our lawyers will handle that aspect with Mr. Scott's lawyers" 2. Now let's assume they donate all the proceeds: Now Travis scott gets another hype release that boosts his stock, net gain, it makes him look like Nike rewarded the situation, and anyone who voiced they didn't want it would be outweighed by others. The fact is that these families will have a field day in court with travis lawyers, they will get their money So this makes me just conclude that you just selfishly want a release and that the victims don't actually matter because if they did, you'd think something like this.
Georgetowns are a must cop for me. As far as the Travis situation, it’s not that man’s fault. Yes it’s his event but a lot of that was out of his control. All the law suits are just looking for money and the ones “hurt” by it are looking for something to debate and talk about. While it’s unfortunate, let’s be real a lot of things have happened in the past few months that deserve more attention.

As far as the Travis deal, Nike is about making their money so it is what it is. If they are going to release them the time doesn’t matter. People who feel a certain way shouldn’t buy them and people who could care less can try to cop. In others sneakers, sooo glad they changed the olive 4’s to the black, extra hype for those! They just sneakers i dont see what the big deal is. I get that something tragic happened at one of his shows but that shouldnt dictate sneaker releases.
