Jordan’s favorite color is blue. Maybe that’s the connection. His high school colors were blue and yellow. This is probably why we get so many blue and yellow Jordan’s.

I had these back in 89, and was able to hit on the shock drop a couple weeks ago. Glad to have them again. Never wanted the other 2 retros as it had the jumpman logo on the back. I'll probably try for another pair on the actual release date, just to have a fresh pair in the future.

The AJ1 Royals also is a weird one that doesn't feel connected to Jordan at all. I think it has to do with sneakers at the time, where they needed diversity in the lineup, you have your Chicago colorways, you have a neutral, and blue is a color that sells well. If Jordan's dad was in the Air Force, then this feels like the first attempts at storytelling and makes sense why they would pivot away from a truer blue shade like Royal or True Blue.

Most GS leather quality aren't as good as the regular pairs. But I think for this case the adult sizing is not great either

I would have to agree with you, bro. Is me being a die hard Chicago Bulls Jordan fan. I primarily wear black red white. The occasional blue shoe is cool, but I just don't wear blue like that and I feel like this would be a shoe that I would buy and it would really just sit in the closet. I pull it out. I take some pictures for the gram we'd walk around the mall once or twice, and then that would be it. It wouldn't be anything that would get enough traction and right now. I think I'm out of stage in my life as a sneakerhead. Where I'm only picking up what I know. I absolutely have to have and cannot live without.

If you don't consider the history behind it, bred is the worst colorway of them to be honest. It's just an almost all black shoe. Just looks wise military blue or white cement are much better looking than bred.

Yeah, I'm 100% passing on this colorway. Navy Blue is my favorite color & Sky blue follows right behind. I'm warming up to royal blue but this shade of blue on this shoe looks like faded/washed out royal. I prefer deeper rich colors. They're dropping this same shoe in Midnight Navy next year, I'll be after those.

Hes said the Black Cements Reimagined were make with top grain leather.... no they were not, hahaha don't just make up ish then try to trash the military blues for poor leather when its exactly the same minus the faux tumble treatment.
