The nostalgia for me on the infrared 6 original colorway is through the roof! This reverse midsole idea is completely brilliant in its subtlety. Absolutely love this custom Vick🔥(Keep bringing that tongue back up where it belongs on this shoe!)
I was pretty shocked Vick use’d the air brush on the back Nike Air n Swoosh. I used a toothpick took my time (about 20) to paint my Retro 6 from black to red. That was over a year ago and they still look clean. I’m going to raise the tongue this weekend, I did the same paint swap on the midsole cept I did airbrush that area. Thanks Vick they look 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎

Hey Vick, can you do a series where you go over mixes you have come up with in depth? It’s so expensive for me personally to try to trial and error Angelus paint and you make it seem so easy in your videos when you create a color. Thanks man!
The easiest way to make the tongue sit higher on the 6’s is just cut the inside strap about half way through and put the shoe on and pull on the tongue a few times and that’s enough to get it to sit at the right height. I’ve been doing that to all my 6’s for years and works perfectly.
You changed the color combinations for infrared. It used to be chili red, hot pink, fire red. Where did orange come from. Good thing I didn’t go ahead with the mix yet
Damn I don’t even remember that mix! But I’ll write that one down lol this mix is more specific to this infrared tone. JB & Nike are always changing the infrared color on all their shoes. Every mix for the most part is always different
@@Vickalmighty yeah it’s when you changed the 2014 infrared (pink) to a true infrared. I actually picked up that pair not knowing it was pink. I bought the 2019 pair though and wanted to change the 2014 to a true infrared. I was gonna do it today until I seen this video. So which one should I go with?
This is the first thing I did when I got my 2019 pair is paint the Nike air if your good enough and have some nice Angelus detail brushes the size of a needle head or you like can even use a toothpick it was my first time doing it and it came out perfect you can paint the heel embroidering by hand pretty easily and it will look every bit as clean in a fraction of the time all the stenciling and taping is a waste of time IMO ive seen your detail work I know you could pull that off by hand. I guess I understand the need to use that expensive equipment you bought but the time alone I just don’t see the upside . I think that would be one change most people would have welcomed I like it so much I think I’m going to do the same with my maroon 6’s
Still wish I had my originals that I got when they first mad there appearance when I was 8-9 years old. I was a kid that didn't let nothing go and took care of my shit I have every box for everything I ever purchased but I'd still have them if my storage shed wouldn't of got broken into it was 1 of 5 shed's that got stolen out of worst day of my life so much money I lost so many originals still in box. Could have made a killing
