The reason they look different is because the older chambrays are made with durabuck/ synthetic whereas the '23's are nubuck which is actual sueded leather. That's why the edge lines are gone because when they dye suede it usually dyes all the way to the edge. Then it's dark too.

I’m so happy those edge lines are gone. That really makes the retro look better & the material they used on the retro does seem more premium. I had the citrus 7s back in 06 & I had the 7s that dropped around 2011. These new 7s are much better

A suede brush & some angelus mink oil will take care of that ash on the shoes & it will help protect them.. 2023 definitely look better

This was my first Jordan I ever paid for, I was in high school. Grew up with not a lot of money and bought them lightly worn off my best friend for 40 bucks. So it’s a must cop for me!!! I just hate the didn’t do the chrome laces like the 06 pair
