What I like about the Doernbechers outsoles is that they are different from one another but the same if that makes sense lol. Different colours are used but the patterns are the same. Nice collection and set up!

I haven't ever owned shoes for years so what do you mean when they are no longer wearable? does the air pockets get squished over time or what? do you just mean regular wear and tear

The most common problem with old sneakers is that the midsole 'dries out', loses its flexibility and starts to crumble and fall apart over time. Wearing them would only speed up that process. And depending on the age and condition of the shoe, simply sliding your foot in could cause serious damage.
