I subscribed.. Wow "AMERICAN MADE", what a Blessing You are. My 02 Continental passenger Air-Spring leaked. Checked every youtube site, about Continental, Town Car, Marquis, Navigator. Did find an easy Air Spring replacement site, made-the-job, a piece of cake, & I'm 74. After finishing the 2-Air Shocks, compressor came-on, but didn't fill 'the bags'.. Tried it so many times, 'the Compressor' quit working. Thought I'd have to purchase a new one?? Then I saw your site. Again, what a Blessing. Tried the Battery disconnect & shorted the + cable to ground which I guess RESET - the - System. Started the car, & SUCCESS ! ! ! Hopefully still working, when I get up tomorrow?? Air Springs are working normal so-far. Even If I have to do The Reset Function a couple more times, I will be beholden-to-You.
Cyn4Real You could also reset your system quicker. By taking your positive cable of the battery and touching it to the negative lead or something metal on the car. That'll do a quick power drain and you will know for sure it drain.
Not Many People are Knowledgeable about this system...I Have Been Having Major Problems with Mine!!...It Works, but Not Correctly!! I Will Try the battery removal.....Thanks!!
My service suspension light came on a code reader says co585 replaced the air ride pump lights still on also noticed I can't go past 80 mph. I just unplugged the battery hopping it resets everything. I got new air ride 6 months ago praying this works. Cadillac escalade esv 2011. Any help or tips I'm all ears
This same thing worked on my 2007 DTS. I replaced the rear air shocks but the car seemed to want to stay at the level it was used to with blown bags, and i was worried about driving around with no air in the bags fuckin' the rubber up. I cycled the compressor manually with a testing relay until it was at the desired height, then disconnected the battery and let it sit for a while. It seems to have relearned the new height and the bags have air in them every time i check now!
Can you please tell me where does the short vacuum hose on the air bag pump on a 1990 Lincoln Mark Vll goes to connect to the main air line to air pump? I’m changing my old pump & it was removed, before I had the chance to see where that vacuum hose connects too. Thank You 🙏🏽
I repaired my unit. Whatever the material inside, melted and locked up the adjustment wheel Softened the material, clamed it away from the wheel, now works fine.
Yes just touch it to the Metal support bracket over top the battery area or something similar. (metal ground out) I have found talking to others and my experience you may have the error come back up after clearing it. But after grounding (clearing it) your air ride will either never come up again or it will again but after multiple resets it will RE-calibrate the air ride and start working. So dont give up.
hell yes. i just got the light and stumbled onto the video and disco bat terminal and touched it to frame,,,,,,, stat for 5 min discoed and wala pump a pumpin message gone
So I have a 2008 Lucerne with magnetic ride suspension I’ve changed all 4 struts and I have that service suspension light and won’t go over 82 I’ve tried the battery thing it didn’t work not how can I satisfy my ecu? The aftermarket rear struts don’t have the connector for the mag ride what should I do
Thank you so much I just want to know that you was very helpful I thought that might have been the deal I pulled the negative but I never pulled off the positive and I notice that's when they start happening for the car not Rising again even though I hear noise from the air thing but I want to say thank you you have been very helpful so I'm not going to disconnect the battery
Hi American Made. When you say 'pull the battery'......are you just advising to disconnect just the postive terminal for about 10 minutes, and leaving the negative terminal alone?
I am looking for a way to DISABLE the 40 mph auto deflater/lowering feature. I like the profile of my 2007 H2 when the bags are up in the back, but having them deflate at 40 mph is a pain in the butt. MUST BE A WAY TO STOP THE 40 MPH AUTO LOWERING FUNCTION.
Just replaced all shocks all shocks with arnott which cleared the "service air ride" message compressor is new but, all it does is click. Relay is also new. Trying this now
justin i did that about 6 months ago and it didnt work, here in baltimore,md nobody sells the resistor that strut masters use so what else can i get or use, or should i do what u said about the battery drain
Wish this video wasn't 8 years old :) But I just bought a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis and it runs great. The guy said the shocks were just done. The car does sit up nicely. But that air suspension light keeps coming on. I reset it and its back 5 min later. Is this video in any way related to my problem?
Ok I have a 2004 buck rainier the airbags were bad so we replaced the air bags and compressor now they said the sensor is not working on the driver side but the passenger side is ok bags are fine. We were told to replace the sensor on the driver side. Will this work for that too.
I purchased lowering airlinks for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. All modes work but, exit/entry. When I try to get to exit/entry, the entire truck lowers but the rear stops short. You can hear the compressor working hard as hell to get that rear end to lower then boom, the infamous "service air suspension immediately" Any suggestions?
sorry I cant help have no experience with that setup. But I understand you are adding an over limit adjustment linkage.. So it seems that you may have to reset or level the system. here is a video of a guy adding that linkage and in the comments others ask great questions about the process. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3S9ZQWPgHYo.html I don't know if grounding out the system to clear the error code but try it.
@@justins5145 thanks brother. And grounding out the system with the positive terminal in a piece of metal in the truck? Shane and I have spoken and we can't figure it out either.
*****ALERT: SUBSCRIBE NOW! I plan on releasing a "Quick Reset How to Video" soon to demonstrate (QUICK DRAIN\DISCHARGE) on what we discussed in the comments on this video.
I've got a 2015 XTS and EVERY TIME I leave it for a month, I come back and the air bags won't air up. It's a MADDENING problem! I've always gotten them to come up after playing with the compressor relay or 40-amp suspension fuse in the trunk. But today it wouldn't work. I could hear the compressor weakly pumping and no air would build; then it would shut off! Pulling the positive cable did the trick. Didn't have it disconnected for more than a minute. Wish I knew what the HELL that problem is, though. A car should NOT fail to build air just because you leave it alone for a month or two or three.
I'm having an issue with just my right side being an inch lower. Had that rear right ride height sensor replaced then had the issue. Went to dealer spent $250 to calibrate the system and it leveled out. Drove home and that damn side is down again. Dont know what to do now. Any suggestions?
I did touch the metal support bracket over top the battery with the + cable but when I reconnected and started truck, error still showing. Will try again touching the negative lead to see if that will work.
Here are some common causes and solutions: Leaking Air Bladders or Lines: If there’s a leak in the air bladders or the air lines, the pump will keep running to try and maintain the correct pressure. You can check for leaks by spraying soapy water on the air lines and bladders and looking for bubbles. Faulty Height Sensors: The height sensors might be malfunctioning, causing the pump to run continuously. These sensors detect the vehicle’s height and adjust the air pressure accordingly. Compressor Relay or Fuse Issues: There might be an issue with the relay or fuse for the compressor. The fuse for the Electronic Level Control (ELC) is located in the rear fuse block under the rear seat cushion next to the battery. Worn-Out Compressor: If the compressor itself is failing, it might run continuously. Compressors are not designed for continuous operation and can burn out if they run too long. To troubleshoot, you can start by checking for leaks and inspecting the height sensors. If those seem fine, you might want to check the relay and fuse. If the problem persists, it could be time to replace the compressor. Thumbs up and Subscribe please..
Just replace my rear electronic air shocks on my 2011 yukon denali 6.2L with Arnott shocks. My compressor is coming on but my shocks remains fully extended. Any advice
@@anthonygreen9882 you could also reset your system. By taking your positive cable off the battery and touching it to something metal on the car. That'll do a quick power drain.
I am getting a "Service Suspension System" notification with associated C0600 DTC code. My Auto Level compressor will not turn on. I have confirmed a good compressor but the code reads "Automatic Level Control Exhaust Solenoid Control Circuit". I have confirmed it is a BAD exhaust solenoid. I was interested in knowing if I can replace just the solenoid (cant find anywhere online), or is it a part of the whole compressor assembly and have to change out the compressor completely?
I believe it to be a non serviceable part. You may need a pump. Places people don't think to buy is you local salvage yard. Nothing wrong with an air pump on a wrecked car. save big$
I have the same problem. I can jump mine so I know it works. I am so sick over this issue because now I'm finding out water leaks in the inner fender or windshield goes through the junction box and it needs to be replaced. I've done removed my battery cables touched them and that does the same thing removes the extra electric. look up bad junction boxes. I took my entire box out tested the 4 black boxes and two had maps and two do not plus 1 compositor that's black and silver is not pulling ant continuity.
Disconnect the Battery? BEFORE you disconnect the battery turn off the AC and wait at least a minute to let all the dampers close. Just a precaution, some GM dampers go haywire when you disconnect the battery it's not in a reset (closed) position when power is reapplied.
**2013 XTS Both rear airbags were not inflating. Disconnected Negative, then positive. Grounded positive to car frame. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Connected positive then Negative. Airbags INFLATED AGAIN.
Hey I know this is an old video but here goes. After taking my 2006 navigator to les shwabb for new tires and machining rotors, the vehicle sways quite a bit and no longer deflates after the vehicle is off for a while. i noticed the difference while driving immediately but chocked it up to new tires or maybe alignment. but then i noticed it's never any lower even after sitting all night when i would shut the vehicle off and feel it lower after a few minutes. I'm pretty sure they didn't switch the air ride system off before lifting the vehicle. could pulling the battery help with this issue? Thanks in advance
Rahsul Williams You could try the reset. But it sounds like for whatever reason your Air release on the pump is not letting air out when needed. But that is a different issue than this error video.
Rahsul Williams By taking your + Positive Cable Off the Battery and touching it to something metal on the car frame or - Negative side of the battery. That'll do a quick power drain. Then the + Positive Cable back to the + side of the battery as it was. Again this is not going to fix everything or fix a part that has failed it only resets memory.
hello, question, before my ESCALADE the compressor was running, but a shocks threw the oil and the compressor was not turned on and until the fuse melted, when I replaced the fused melt, as if it sent the signal to turn on, but it would melt again So try with 2 more fucibles until I no longer send the signal to turn on, I really do not know what the problem is now, thank you very much, if someone could help me!
omg omg omg this is what i’m going thru! but help. idk if you’re familiar with or had to deal with “dampener actuator circuit open” on both fronts, pass rear … C0575, C0585, C0590. all my parts are NEW it’s 07 yukon denali … but everything is connected :(. idk what the heck to do. i’m so lost.
Just had front shocks changed on 03 Denali with ACDelco 580439 which is supposed to be the replacements shocks for that truck and now I get the Service Ride Control.
I have 2010 buick Lacrosse and my service suspension system light is staying on after changing my rear shocks and It's still hitting hard everytime I hit a bump
My prob is that my positive connection looks nothing like what I see online in other 2007 escalades. I have no idea how to disconnect it and its so corroded that I'm afraid of breaking sometbing.
sounds like you may need to take some time and clean it up and may need to replace battery cable end. But It is a must to reset the way I have stated. Use some Battery Connection Cleaner (sold @auto parts store) or Vinegar and water to help clean off battery post. GOOD LUCK.
THIS IS A CADILLAC issue and fix video.. I dont really know for sure but a quick Google search try this.. www.justanswer.com/nissan/1rx38-relay-load-leveler-located-nissan-armada.html
+dontedog4life sure you can disable it for your type of situation. here is a link to a how to with the resistor trick. easy fix ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IepZ4dnkXvg.html
no, I have a 06 lincoln nav and my relay will not turn on. if I jump my old one it still works. the problem is the dam junction boxes are a piece of 234t and they need to be replaced. Then I heard the control module can be the issue. FORD HAS BECOME THE WORSE vehicles to buy. the newer models more problems.
I sold my 07 Navigator years ago went Cadillac and never looked back. (need towing power and rear end carry capacity). Still good luck and hope you get it worked out. Plz Sub

Hey anyone out there that can get back to me on this ..I have a 1992 ...oldsmobile. regency..elite..an my car just started saggn in the back .any..tips ..it olny has the aircompresser ..in the front Diverside..I replaced the fuses..an Nothing.....please anyone out there knows how to help me fix my ride ..
Make sure don't mess with your climate control knobs when you reset the battery. Those get relearn too if you touch the temperature stuff while it's relearning it'll mess it up and you'll have to do it again or you will have heat stuck on instead of cold or something funny.
you prolly dont care but if you guys are bored like me atm you can stream all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf for the last couple of days =)
Try to by taking your positive cable off the battery and touching it to something metal on the car. That'll do a quick power drain. After grounding (clearing it) your air ride will either never come up again or it will again but after multiple resets it will RE-calibrate the air ride and start working. So dont give up. If that clears the error light and your PUMP goes back to working but then stops again after some time and multiple resets wont keep it at bay then you have another issue that needs a service shop.
What if the motor comes on for like 5 seconds then shuts off what could it be? I disconnected the battery for ten mins and nothing still the same I even changed the sensor
My issue is my new compressor doesn't run all the time. Seems like every 3 days but I don't have the service ride message on my dash!! Then when it does run it will go on for about 4 to 5 times while driving. Really confused!
Capital R then it's working correctly. It only levels when needed. If it comes on Everytime you crank it your shocks are blown out which will blow the compressor eventually because it's running to much.
Fuerza Ford Remove (+) Positive battery lead. Touch the cable end to some metal on your car it should clear out then. Rehook up cable back to positive lead and test
+St White I figured it out @ night while it was no my mind I recorded. also I did not need to really show you anything it is all about resetting. sorry for it being so dark.
