And this is what Jim Richard Steinman a composer, lyricist, and record producer with Jewish ancestry meant when he wrote this beautiful best song - Making love, out of nothing at all -the lovers never made love. The writer had p u r e love for whoever she was. He was a successful man who had everything, knew how to make and do everything, and how to love her romantically, asking humbly for her to love him back. She in return loves him back but in her own special way without the sex. He CLEARLY says to her “And I don’t know how you do it, making love out of nothing at all” With appreciation, in the memory of Jim Richard Steinman in peace rest his soul, זכר צדיק לברכה
This song came out when I was in high school. Even back then, I heard that line and couldn’t help but wonder whether or not he could make all the stadiums rock. Here we are, nearly 40 years later, and I still wonder. But yeah, I think his delivery is a big reason I didn’t dismiss the possibility immediately.
Russell Hitchcock, the one and only, the summit of the beauty of the human voice. Something that has always drawn my attention and left me speechless is how he can sing an entire song in such a high pitch, unlike other talented singers who can also reach high notes, but just in some parts of the songs they sing. All in all, we should be consider ourselves really lucky to have witnessed the magnificent Russell Hitchcock, and his fantastic voice.
+paramrider 69 He wrote this song. It was first used in a 1980 movie "A Small Circle Of Fiends" In addition to his song-writing talent he was also good at getting his songs to performers who fit them well. Such as' Meatloaf for his highly bombastic and dramatic "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" can't imagine anybody doing that song any better than he did.
@@knockknockbusted yeah, he wrote all the songs on bat outta hell and than some. Meat and Jim were like best friends. Ol Jimmy also wrote some stuff for bonnje tyler, and im sure more singers

I grew up on 80's rock and metal. Poison, motley crue, gnr, metallica, slayer, twisted sister, tesla, etc. That being said i appreciate talent when i see it and this band is very good at what they do.
TREMENDO VOCALISTA SU VOZ ES EXTRAORDINARIAMENTE BELLA SU INGLES ES CLARO Y SE ENTIENDE LO QUE CANTA .MUCHOS DESEARAN SU VOZ DIOS LOS BENDIGA AIR SUPPLY POR Y PARA SIEMPRE.
im wishing to see this man in real.hes my idol since was young.. "Russell Hitchcock" please come again in cagayan de oro city, philippines if you still alive..i really love to see you ...
This is a great song and Air Supply is fantastic. I will always wonder what the Meatloaf version would have sounded like. There has never been anything like the combination of JIm and Meatloaf. This song was perfect for his voice and range. Since it didn’t result in a Meatloaf version, I’m so glad Air Supply was the artist to do justice to this song.
1:00 And I know the night is fading 1:03 And I know the time's gonna fly 1:06 And I'm never gonna tell you everything I gotta tell you but I know I gotta give it a try 1:13 And I know the road to riches 1:16 And I know the way to fame I know all the rules 1:21 And then I know how to break 'em 1:23 And I always know the name of the game but I don't know how to leave you 1:29 And I'll never let you fall 1:34 And I don't know how you do it making love out of nothing at all ...
I know just how to whisper And I know just how to cry I know just where to find the answers And I know just how to lie I know just how to fake it And I know just how to scheme I know just when to face the truth And then I know just when to dream And I know just where to touch you And I know just what to prove I know when to pull you closer And I know when to let you loose And I know the night is fading And I know the time's gonna fly And I'm never gonna tell you everything I've gotta tell you But I know I've gotta give it a try And I know the roads to riches And I know the ways to fame I know all the rules and then I know how to break 'em And I always know the name of the game But I don't know how to leave you And I'll never let you fall And I don't know how you do it Making love out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all Making love out of nothing at all Everytime I see you all the rays of the sun are Streaming through the waves in your hair And every star in the sky is taking aim at Your eyes like a spotlight The beating of my heart is a drum, and it's lost And it's looking for a rhythm like you You can take the darkness at the pit of the night And turn into a beacon burning endlessly bright I've gotta follow it 'cause everything I know Well, it's nothing 'til I give it to you I can make the runner stumble I can make the final block I can make every tackle at the sound of the whistle I can make all the stadiums rock I can make tonight forever Or I can make it disappear by the dawn I can make you every promise that has ever been made And I can make all your demons be gone But I'm never gonna make it without you Do you really want to see me crawl And I'm never gonna make it like you do Making love out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all Out of nothing at all, out of nothing at all
