It was time to fly to a brand new country with a new airline as well. Onboard this low-cost, medium-haul flight, I fly AirAsia X on their 4 years old Airbus A330-300, 9M-XBC.
It took a while, but I finally got a chance to fly AirAsia and exploring KLIA2 was a pleasant experience. We took the time to enjoy as much of it as we could. Whilst plane spotting, it was time to board at Gate Q6. I settled in Seat 10A right at the front in the "Quiet Zone." Watching the engines spool up is usually common for the business traveller, but not for low-cost. Soon after, our plane pushed back from the gate and taxied to the runway before taking off towards New Delhi. The flight wasn't long by any means, but I had other means of entertainment to keep me occupied, especially since I didn't want to spend too much onboard. Then, our meals were served and we bought some refreshments. The sun began to set and it was pitch black by the time we descended. And then, the city lights of New Delhi became visible and we landed. The plane taxied to Gate 22 of Terminal 3. We collected our bags from Carousel 8 and we hustled outside. Luckily, we made it to our hotel amid a slight hassle.
