Accumulators on hydraulics will act as a shock and give a comfortable ride.

@@brownjatt21 As smooth as you want. The accumulators are about the size of a grapefruit. How much nitrogen pressure you add to the bladder will determine how still the ride.

@@brownjatt21 With that said, unlike air, hydraulics + accumulators will provide the same ride quality at any height. I still prefer air for my own rides simply for user serviceability. A couple fittings, wrenches, knife, and some air line can keep me on the road whereas leaky hydraulic hoses can wreak havoc.

You can get a good ride on hydros, but you gotta run accumulators, shocks, and hard line it

@@master6435 idk what you mean by hybrid system. I've seen set ups that used bags instead of pumps to push a cylinder and transfer fluid into another cylinder. But that's dumb, a set up like that is basically an over complicated, over engineered, super expensive accumulator.

@@tintshady2049 the airbags will act like the bump stops when no in use but then the hydraulic would have to be set up where there is a second set of lines to just let the fluid flow freely so the hydraulic act like a shock when not in use

@@master6435 yes, that's exactly what I just described. It's stupid. You can do the same thing with nitrogen charged accumulators

I got a car with hydros and a car that’s on an elite air ride. Both cost the same. But the airbags ride better, can get three wheel action not as high granted but still and it hops about 3 feet maybe 4 if I hit the switches fast enough. It’s a 4 way switch set up, hydros were cool when I was young and still appreciate them. But in my old age prefer my bags plus I ride the air suspension car everywhere.
