Burt Rutan is a amazing innovator and designer!! I met him back in the 80s. He a very nice guy to talk to, he truly shaped my career in aviation. 😊

I’m actually really excited about Roswell and Pueblo being in the finals because they are much closer to me than Reno

I like the luggage rack I see on top.

As a pilot who has flown around Roswell, it’s a good pick for safety reasons. Assuming it would be SW of the city, there is lots of room to land in an engine out situation. And not to worry about space ships, most have already crashed.

The actual leaders (plural) of aircraft design are the students of Aircraft Design at Kansas University "Jayhawks" who have earned over 100 AIAA Design Awards over the past couple of decades. Look at them!

I found the use of the word "bungled" to be a bit irritatng. It is, after all, rocket science.

Burt Rutan, what an amazing intellectual talent in aviation. Too bad he's not 20yrs younger, he would make a great thought partner to the Elon Musk flying/space innovation group. Imagine what else that team could create.
