Meaning try to hold the nozzle of the spray paint can closer to the surface to avoid dry spray. If you dry spray it looks flat and doesn’t look shiny and reflective.

In the video, I am spraying a dark brown over the copper to give it the aged look. By applying the foam first the urethane sets on top of the spray foam and when you wipe off the foam, the paint comes off with it, leaving only the areas where the foam wasn’t with color. @@bubba6richards729 on the waterbased paints like the blue and the teal colors I used yes it will be ok but the copper and the dark grungy color I used were urethan paint.
