I don't know why I didn't think of tape or paper to stencil straight lines for the space scene I just did. It was my first attempt at something other than models. Good practice at control though and the exploding galaxy I did using wrinkled up paper towel turned out rad. Good tips!

Great star bursts but very time consuming.... its far quicker to cut a long line as thick as you want (1 to 3 mm should be about right) in some mylar that can quickly be placed in the directing you want it and its reusable......

Hi there thanks for your comment, yes you can use the trident paint for automotive airbrushing as it can be clear coated with 2 pack clear. Hope that helps 👍🏼+Ferry Setiawan
