I don't understand. Why did the ATC tell you to hold short C22 only for seemingly nothing other than one landing traffic, then just like that told you to expedite after recleared for taxi? Amazing videos by the way, always loved it!
Because on this airport the holding point of the Runway is just before C22, you can see the red stop bar on, he told us to expidite because there was someone else in an approach to land. Thanks for watching, Saludos!
@@pedreroi But isnt that the ILS cat 2/3 holding point? i am assuming the approaching aircraft is not doing any of that. when why were you required to hold there? Because i saw the actual holding point for the runway just prior to entering the runway. Not sure if i am missing something. Great videos!
@@isacjohnson8891 You are absolutely right, but there is this note in the Airport Briefing. Due to the GP signal protection area of RWY 12L/30R, the actual holding position of RWY 12L/30R is on TWY C. When ACFT hold at holding position for line-up instructions, the fuselage should be parallel to the RWY. Pay attention to avoid missing the holding position. Saludos!
