Airbus A300-600ST Beluga Plane seen from Chester Zoo
On our recent visit to Chester Zoo we were treated to this amazing Airbus A300-600ST Airbus Beluga Super Transporter Plane number 5 on approach to land at Chester Airport.
The Airbus A300-600ST Beluga is a version of the standard A300-600 wide-body airliner modified to carry aircraft parts and outsize cargo. Its official name was Super Transporter but as it resembles the Beluga Whale the name Beluga gained popularity and has since been officially adopted.
