it is more and more comical how WG puts ground based planes (especially like P1Y) on aircraft carriers

I'm so impressed by how the player was able to get over 80k damage by just laying mines! Very impressive I must say.

As much as I don't really like carriers, I'm glad we're getting historical ones, I hope to see ships like USS Gambier Bay, HMS Ocean or IJN Shinano in the future.

Pretty about Taiho is definitely gonna coming ahead this year for Early Access in the future

Nearly 50k damage from that first mine drop 🤦🏻‍♂️ It even sets up ships so they can't manoeuvre to avoid a follow up strike.

Taiho's carpet bombers gimmick looks like Malta's carpet bombers

This seems to be a very good cv, pretty unique.

The best girl! Got to get her just for the P1Y1 Ginga bombers. While the AP bombs look really weak individually, note how the whole squadron drops at once, like Soviet planes. That should give it a slight durability buff during the attack run (this applies to all one-squadron one-drop planes, including tactical planes). And the naval mines are completely different than the ones originally tested as consumables, this time they look much more dangerous.

I'd rather have taiho with old Haku gimmick of 4x3 type of torp squad with some other gimmick about bombs like the old ijn had which were HE bombs or something along these lines Now taiho has crappy rockets, laughing stock of British style ap bombs and the mine gimmick which is supposed to be extremely strong

It looks amazing, but it' d be better if the torp planes came back with the mine squadron. This combination would be perfect.

I just wish that they would redo carriers, submarines, secondaries and AA guns along Battlestations Pacific Guidelines. That was the most fun game. A lot better than this one

Well of course this gimmick would be deleted too in the world of warship, and taiho would be a midiocre and tasteless cv like the american 2nd cv lineup.

They calling these "support carriers" just cuz they thrown some stolen DD gimmicks, and slightly better fighter consumable that will still be useless against a selfaware enemy CV. Why don't they make a CV line with manual fighters, like back in RTS - that would actually be a support CV - that would make it possible for your team to actually push. That would actually add a risk factor to playing a CV - which is probably why Wargaming won't ever do it.
