The Aiir Edge Hot and Aiir Edge Cold analytics are now functional during live inspections with the MViQ OS 3.7 software update. In this video of our MViQ video borescope inspecting turbine blades on a CFM56 engine, you will see how Aiir Edge Hot detects and identifies a crack found at the blade tip during the 'live' inspection. The analytic enters a 'still' or 'Freeze Frame (FF)' state and assigns the appropriate defect classification (cracking) before saving the image and proceeding with the inspection.
