I retired from the airlines at age 65 and was fortunate to fine the world's greatest retirement job flying the world's greatest turboprop, the PC-12NG! I absolutely love this airplane and I have flown everything from the J-3 Cub to the DC-3 to the Boeing 767. I had flown 10 different models of the King Air 1978-1986 and was the Director of Training for FlightSafety's King Air Division for 6 years and really hoped to get a retirement job flying a King Air. But a job opened up flying the Pilatus and it quickly became apparent that the second PT6 engine was not necessary. The PC-12NG has made the King Air 90 to the 250 obsolete.
I love this aircraft ever since it appeared in the market. And I wish to fly it and if possible make a living. It is an affordable sngle turbo prop of very high capabilities and reliability. A small amount for such a capable aircraft, absoutely. Go PC-12!
Gelodicus You mean; "a few million dollars to INVEST in a business aircraft!" Folks with that kind of cash shouldn't just throw it around. (Yeah, I know that some do!)
Hi I'm 10 and when I'm old enough I want to get a private pilot liscence so I can fly my family around I love going on planes what are the most important things about being a pilot,I know listening and good vision is pretty much necessary so yeah
Stormer assuming you're not rich it's a really big commitment. I suggest you start now, buy a flight simulator for your computer and a copy of "Stick and Rudder" by Wolfgang Langeweische. Read the book and and practice on the flight sim every day. Get an after school and summer job at a fixed base operation with a flight school on the local airport as soon as you get old enough. (14 is not too young). Until they're willing to actually hire you tell them you'll do volunteer work for free doing whatever they need done. Get VHF scanner radio and listen to the aircraft and ATC radio traffic until you can understand and watch you tube videos. Consider getting a sport or recreational pilot license when you're old enough (even a drone license) Eat healthy, don't smoke and care of your health. Get (and stay) in good physical condition and avoid drugs and alcohol and people who abuse them. Good luck! 👍
