Nice one! My powerplant licensing test comes up next month and I've been using every resource available to prepare myself. This is the best material I've found RU-vid for weight and balance.
Thank you so much for your time and effort in producing and sharing this video. I am heading into this career and am searching for resource info and any tips that I can find. Please make more! Thanks again.
It's good you are making videos to help educate the public and other students. However it would be better for the viewer if the camera was more stable, and every procedure and action was captured on video instead of the work being done without recording it and then explained after. For example, when lowering the front nose gear to level the aircraft there was no video footage of how to do it. It was done off camera and then explained. Videos like this should show step by step to help the viewer have a firm grasp of what is happening.Another thing is when the students are making the markings for the arm of the nose gear and firewall, you cannot see the entire process. The camera should be zoomed out or far enough away to capture the entire procedure being done and explained. Also having the camera recording the students back instead of what is happening does not help.I think it would be much better for presentation if the students rehearse or perform the procedures of projects enough times to have a good flow and understanding of what everyone is doing and what is going on and how to explain the procedures before you record them.I recently graduated from the Las Vegas campus and I am in the process of finishing my oral and practical exams. This video helped refresh my memory of how to do the project, but only because I've done it before. I don't think it would be as helpful to someone who is completely new to it.Good luck on future videos.
Bo Bailey I agree completely. When you took your Oral and practical what did they mostly ask about. Or what did you have to perform. I’m getting ready to do mine very soon and am looking for as much information as possible
