A friend of mine was recently clubbed over the head with a golf club. He survived thank goodness. I am now going to set up a petition to force the government to ban all golf clubs so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Why do people need to have these weapons at home? They should be kept at the golf club in locked cabinets. KEEP GOLF CLUBS AWAY FROM THESE THUGS!

Does anyone know the limit on a visitor's permit if you're visiting from England and Wales, it is going to be time limited to a certain event or will it be in line with your FAC/SGC for a 5 year time period. It would be a pain if you do regular competitions in Scotland and you come from England every time having to apply for a separate visitor permit and paying 20 pounds. What if you live on the Scottish borders and your shooting permission is in Scotland but you live in England, you can't apply for an air weapon license since you don't like in Scotland but will have to continually fork out for visitors permits.
We will need to listen again but im sure its mentioned that you dont need to live in Scotland to apply for the full licence and if you are visiting lots its the best thing to do .
I wonder how this will be achieved, since as with a normal FAC/SGC application somebody will have to visit to make sure that you are suitable to own said airgun, is a scottish FEO going to come down all the way from Scotland to do that?
