Airline Map Bass review, Eastwood Guitars 

I bought this bass - from Paul. This thing is awesome. I have a Deluxe Jazz, a '62 stack knob, Ric 4003, T-Bird, Burns and all my band wants me to play is this thing. It sounds brilliant in our harder rock outfit through my SVT Classic and 15" cab, and plays so easily especially with the flats that I'm losing my calluses.. notes ring out but with a sweet thump, and also sounds great through the fuzz box. Gonna buy two other colours just to have variety; I'm totally converted. Thanks Paul!!

@Jimbojetro I bet you could make it work. It has the look for sure. Pop-punk makes me think of a Pbass, however. Through the right amp, you'd be all set with this bass.

What strings did u have on this bass ? were they flatwounds ?

You could I guess, but this isn't the ideal bass for that. There's not much room for "popping." Sometimes the acoustic thud from slapping on a semi hollow can be cool, but it's far from what a lot of people expect to hear. You could make it work, though.
