Enjoy hearing about the training in the United States! Big change for my father who got his Pilot's licence in 1939 in Calgary with virtually no training! He went on to be an Avionics Development Specialist with his first accredited project being the B52 Bomber! After that he was on the Arrow Development team, then spent his remaining career developing aircraft at De Havilland. He past away just before they had placed him in the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa!
Nice vid man! I have one of these in my garage. It’s not nearly as nice and pro as that one, but it’s a nice FDS 737 cockpit using MSFS and three 75” TV’s. Good stuff. I love flying! Wish I would’ve done this for a career coming out of high school/college.
I really love the video Garrett! It was nice to see not only the sneak peak of the training area, but also the campus and the amenities. Have been watching your channel for a while. Cannot wait to start fight training next year and hopefully fly with you as a captain one day.
Thanks for sharing the recurrent training experience . I went to Sabre CRS training in 1982 and it was dorm sleeping, I think there were about 8 beds in a room. I am curious about the CRM. Ddo you think that helps in everyday communication with partners/friends, etc? I looked online for the CRM and it was over$100. I love learning about communication and if you think it helps I will invest in buying that book.
