Awesome!! Food Services Journeyman kept was well fed and taken care of when i was assigned with The 30th Security Forces (Space Wing Command) at Vandenberg Air Force base in 2005!! we all appreciate them very much!
Back in 2003, if you signed up for any armed forces and with scored over 50 on your asvab, you were qualified for three things: infantry, truck driver or cook for the Army branch. Airforce gives you two (truck driver or cook). Marines (infantry, truck driver or cook). The recruiters were in desperate need back then to replenish new trained forces as recruitment between 2004-2006 were really really really low and a lot of folks who 1 year left on their service contract wanted to leave and finish their 4 year reserve but gets converted in to 4 years active duty (depends on experience and MOS). Being a cook or chef was not bad but it did keep you behind lines. Without these food services, any armed forces would be in trouble. That is why the american forces are the one of the best because a well fed force is a better fighter against forces with little to no rations.
@@domersftw1503 You mean for young women who cant afford the child? It is none of your business and besides quit bitching and moaning because you are anti choice. It is only because of that that you are pissing and moaning about abortion and besides it has zero to do with this video.. I take you voted for the criminal chump for president which makes you a criminal at heart
this was video back in the day nowadays most everyone wants better air force jobs go into. I been to some bases and deal with grumpy airmen who get washed out of tech school end up working food (services) say they dont want be here.
sorry about that, like all airman back then we all had to start in on-base mess halls first. After I advanced past clean-up details I really enjoyed my time at Ellsworth. I hope you are enjoying your off base time as well. My wife and I go through Rapid City about once a year. I always wonder what it's like today. Don't forget, have fun!
I wonder if they still work 18 hours shifts with 2 days on, and 2 days off. Work loads don’t seem as heavy as ours were, we did everything with less staff.
Feeding someone is such an important job and people don't get the credit they deserve I remember working an assignment at the corporate building of a large PHARMACEUTICAL company and this building was strictly for the upper echelon the CEO and coo CFO all the vice presidents and they had an executive dining room and I would go in there for breakfast lunch and dinner and the corporate leaders that eat their everyday they treated the people serving them and cooking for them like they didn't even exist like they were trash and the last day that I worked there I went and I thanked each one of them and told them how much it meant for me that they cooked for me and it was really good and it made me feel good that I acknowledge them for the hard work that they did It's the niceties that we've lost from the World War II and 1950s generations That You Don't see anymore in any level of society

Its time to get right with Jesus. nobody is automatically gonna go to heaven at the end of it, we all have lied or stolen or had sex before marriage and the punishment is hell. Jesus died so you can get a clean slate and forgiveness of future sins if you repent of them if you commit them, so you receive the gift of forgiveness by following him. When you start you have to stop sinning willfully, and follow his word and obey it, strive to do those things. That’s following the Lord Jesus. Read the Bible and find wisdom!
