Wouldnt they need tips for ANC? There needs to be a seal for that to work efficiently*

i am actually hyped for the better model, it is basically airpods pro, without the silicon eartips, which im not fan of

The tap navigation is the reason why I still have the gen 2 AirPods 😫 I can’t with that Taptic gestures! It’s so much easier to tap then press 😊

The $179 pair is exactly what I wanted, noise canceling without the silicone tips.

I’m waiting for the upgraded pros. I might have to get the current AirPods pros now if they upgrade the pros next year. I can’t wait that long.

I get the white = Apple, but come on, how about some color options for once?

I have the OG AirPods Pro which came out about 4 years ago and somehow the base AirPods are yet to catch up

Airpods 3rd gen are already waterproof enough. I lost my left airpod and it was left in the street for a whole rainy night. I picked it up the next day after I found it and it sounded like nothing had ever happened. That was half a year ago and nothing has changed

Am I missing something? Most of the features you mentioned as new were already in the AirPods 3

I’m on my 6th pair of AirPods 1/2 because I despise the “force” sensor and shorter stems, guess I’ll just go stock pile as many pairs of the 2’s as I can.

I currently have the AirPods Pro the first gen version I believe and I would love to upgrade since I use AirPods daily but to be honest I don’t find it worth it to buy a new model of AirPods if they don’t look different in some way! The design being the exact same just makes it feel like it’s a old model. No way for others to tell either while I don’t care for that reason it certainly is a factor. I think they really need to do a design change to make it distinct as well as maybe adding some colours or something. That’s what I’m personally waiting for a visual design upgrade. That’s the only thing limiting me from buying the newer models.
