@@ghislainriou9560 iFixit wants consumers to repair their own devices . This microsoldering stuff is extremely tough. Therefore it can’t be repaired by a ordinary person only certified and experienced people can do this and have the tools to do such repairs

Because it's really tiny and we may damage more than fixing it so not much people willing to do it.

Possible, yes, but the time and effort in doing it, building the custom jig, making the custom tweezers, and likelihood for error rendering them useless make it completely impractical. Cost of new $150 direct from apple. No repair person is going to get rich charging less than new for this repair. Fascinating video though, appreciate seeing it,

i tried this repair, i've always been a natural, by 14 i was repairing MacBook's and iPhones. i went into this with far to much confidence, needles to say, i failed miserably. and now i've got a whole new level of respect for this tutorial, i've ordered another pair of broken air pods and I'm going in for round 2, wish me luck.

@@kevinruan judging from amount of work in this video, i guess the final cost will be in range of $25 to $35, including the battery., so instead new $150 airpod they can pay $30 for new battery I know it's tricky to replace battery, but it because of lacking right tool and they have to DIY, now the Chinese knows the idea and they will start producing the tool for this job

Apple is now including their battery service for free in Apple Care +. It's not like you unscrew some screws and the battery pops out. You really need to do all the prying and picking. Really curious how their technicians will do the battery exchange to make it smooth enough so that there won't be scratches and nicks all over the place. Otherwise, not only the aesthetics but also the waterproof performance is going to be compensated.

I have a I9 TWS and the left pod dose not charging while the right does perfectly. Is this a problem of the case or the pod?

If the right one is charging perfectly, I would suggest that the problem is coming from the left pod. I9TWS are easy to open. Normally, the battery is located next to the speaker, so you just have to buy new batteries, open the pod and do some soldering in order to replace the battery. Hope it helps

Fascinating video though, appreciate seeing it, Unfortunately it confirms the fact that though possible, this repair is completely impractical. The need to make custom tools, the jig for holding it and the tweezers to extract the battery, plus the time and effort required, and the likelihood to make a simple mistake and ruin them makes this a fools errrand. Cost of new $150 direct from apple. No repair person is going to get rich charging less than new for this repair or want to assume the risk of likely damaging the, beyond repair.
