Late to the party, but I've joined the AirPods Max club! Here's an unboxing with my first impressions and a quick comparison to my Beats Solo 3 on-ear headphones. #apple #airpodsmax #spacegray #beatssolo3 #unboxing #appleunboxing
I bought the silver ones two years ago and loved them the only thing that I didn’t like is that the case was white and it started to get some stains on there that you could see and eventually I just bought a new pair the blue ones which I so love that color and gave my old ones away that were still in outstanding condition. BTW those Beats Solo’s suck if you ever want a new pair of beats get the studio wireless 3’s they are not bad at all.
Amazing headphones but make sure you have Apple Care+ because after around 12-14 months of normal usage the elasticity in the mesh headband might degrade to the point where you may need a replacement. At least that’s what happened to me, still like the other aspects of these headphones, though.
I got this and a ipad mini 6 for a $100 3d printer. I'm pretty sure it's a good deal but haven't got around to using both extensively yet and missing out the unboxing kinda took away some of the experience.
I work at a tech startup! I think perks are less generous nowadays, but when I was job searching back in 2020 there were a lot of companies that had "work station" budgets since remote work was required at the time.
I just went to the apple store to buy the ultra.. I'm also interested in the headphones too.. eyeing them for years, but I'm so glued to the AirPods pros ...anyways I went to the store, and I picked them up once ... super heavy, and the cuff fell off... 😂😂... I'm like you know what I'll pass on these.. haha
I play a lot of pool and bowl with the beats and my ears get hot and sweat with the beats BUT NOT WITH THE AIR MAX. For running on tread mill the max are NOT the best tho. Hope this helps anyone
I agree with you, beats have horrible build quality, I’ve had almost every pair and I got these in the same color as you, they’re doing great. The beats broke after a few months of use.
Thanks for the video my Beats Solo 3S are getting old i had them for about 4 years and I’m looking into upgrading to the new AirPod max or even the beats studio 3S to replace the solos what do you recommend
I wore them once to work out, and I absolutely hated them for work outs. It might just be because of my hair, but they slip off at every little movement. I think for running they'd be fine, but any time I did dumbbell rows or pushups I literally took them off because they were kept falling off
@@F30Jay Yes, no problem! I've also heard of condensation issues when working out. If I were you I would watch more videos to see other reviews specifically about working out in these I see so many people wearing them to the gym it makes me think it may just be my slippery hair that's causing problems 🤣 Best of luck!
@@KatrinaFestejo yeah I’ve seen a few actually! Lol I keep hearing mixed reviews for people working out in them. I wish it was more one sided because it’s making my decision to drop 450 on a pair of headphones really tough. My head isn’t the biggest and I have a low fade so hair won’t be an issue at least I guess haha I just really need to try a pair on.
@@F30Jay yes! you should go into the store and move around in them as much as you can. Definitely not something you want to splurge on if you're unsure 😬
Good point I got the Sony xm3 i repot like them they are still going strong 3 years later with daily use. But sadly I’m starting to notice the battery is not lasting as long as it use to do I may upgrade the the mx4;in November on Black Friday Sony headphones last a while I’ll keep them till they die completely
After a couple weeks of wearing them for long hours I'm actually starting to have an issue with pain at the top of my head /: I'll definitely do a 3 month review, but was pretty disappointed when I started having pain🥲
@@KatrinaFestejo Thanks for reply. Yes as expected, sadly, they are to heavy.... however, the Sennheiser HD 650, are not so heavy and i have no issue wearing them ... but yeah, no wireless and they are open back .... I assume that you can return them back
i wanna buy this with the $150 apple giftcard i got from buying the macbook air but i just recently bought the airpods pro and now i feel like im gonna waste money if i buy the headphones 😭
If you think you'd still get a lot of use from both it could be worth it! But also it may be good to wait to see if they release a new pair soon and the price of these go down 😅
I personally can't /: they slip off my head if I move my head forward or backward. I've heard other people can use them fine, but I think my hair is really slippery and these don't get a good grip on them.
I dont like these headphones at all. I love my 13 Pro. The camera is great. I returned mine. I purchased the coral one. They wouldnt pair with any of my devices for two weeks. The sound is awful. They hurt my ears whenever I wear my glasses and they’re overpriced. I much prefer the Sony xm4’s
@@scenesinscarlet what don’t you understand about what I wrote? I didnt like the coral AirPod Max because they wouldnt hook up to any of my devices, they were not comfortable and I didnt like the sound quality.
