Guys if your case isn’t making sounds anymore do this, go to Bluetooth settings and go to the AirPods settings in the list and click “show in find my” it worked for me!
Guys if your thing is greyed try resetting the AirPods u can do this by disconnecting in setting or opening the AirPods case near your phone and long pressing the button on the back of the case, this will reset everything and you can reconnect the AirPods. It worked for me
I tried resetting but still showing greyed out. Also I noticed after I reset the device even after my name is coming on it which means it doesn’t get reset properly.
@@sunny27jan Not surprised. iOS 16 is the worst to date. We’ve always have had bugs and glitches but the fact that it’s so widespread with iOS 16…. Hopefully iOS 17 fixes all of this crap
@@sunny27janmine too. It also dont make any sounds when plugging to a charger. And I cant make the case sound off when trying to find it in the Find My app. Only the airpods itself can sound off. So annoying
I’m having a problem where even if it’s turned on it won’t play sounds, it did before it synced with my phone and recognised it as my old AirPods name , tried forgetting and reset. No luck
go to find my iphone play sound on airpods stop the sound go to airpod settings with the lid open turn off case sounds (it should no longer be greyed out) this miraculously worked for me first try lol
Mine was doing the same thing. I fixed it by going into the "Find My" app, then the "Devices" tab, tapped my AirPods and then "Play Sound". It took a few tries, but it eventually played a sound on my case. After that I went back into the Settings and the "Enable charging case sounds" was no longer greyed out.
Ma man ur AirPods are replicas, these are fakes. You don’t have to press any button to connect them if they are original. Another sign of them being fake is the „not your AirPods Pro“ text when connecting. Do your research 🤙🏽
Same with me sometimes while closing the lid it makes sound but not every time and doesn’t make any sound while opening the lid. Is this an issue or it is happening with everyone?
@@paritoshgautam that’s the exact same case with my AirPods. But the last time my case made any sound when closing is a week ago. I really liked it and want it back :/
@@clay7214 nothing as such they took the complaint and approved the return. It had been 20 days since I got those they extended the return as return period is 15 days only
I bought airpods pro 2 brand new dew days ago.. the thing is, they wont charge by case..i must plug them with usb type c to charge them... what's wrong?
