Kyle Kampsen just found my AirPods and case in the dryer and they work perfectly fine and so does the case. Only thing is that the case looks fucked up.
My sons AirPods survived an hour and a half in the washing machine and about an hour in the tumble dryer. They are in perfect working order. To be honest : I’m astonished
So I legit just washed mine on accident. And freaked out after hearing the loud chirp. But after watching this I feel better hahaha plus they work just as great
@@Niclopez0305 dang this was awhile ago. that’s unlucky that you left them in the washer but they should be fine. idk why i worded my comment like that i sound like a fkn douche LOL.
@@emersyn9 the sound sounds a bit distorted like cheap earphones do, so I’m paranoid now. Luckily the right one didn’t get wet and I still have warranty so I’m just going to pretend like they just started acting weird for randomly when I was using it
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ru-vid.comUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
I literally just washed and dried my AirPods yesterday. Yeah, they were quite warm when I discovered them. So far they seem fine, with as many tests that I could throw at them (BT connectivity, left/right mic, spacial audio, noise cancellation, etc.).
Forgot they were in my shorts. Mine survived a 20 minute express wash and a 30 minute dryer. Same sound quality and same noise cancellation quality. Don’t know how it’ll sound for talking on the phone, but I assume it’ll be fine. Very surprised they survived
just found mine in the dryer they were dead without the dock so charging them these things still work just tested them and apple is powerful with there electronics
One of my AirPods Pro fell out of its case into my jeans pocket and got washed (30 degree C quick wash) and also tumble dried. I’m happy to report it still works.
@@Sheluvfaris It worked when I retrieved it from my jeans pocket. It was a couple of hours after the clothes were out of the drier so it pretty much worked straight away.
My Pro 2 are 24h after full cycle machine washing. I did NOT put them in the case and neither in my year but in a cup of rice immediatly after they came up clean 😉. ALL FUNCTIONAL, NOT ANY ANOMALY 24h after the adventure
No joke this happened to me. Thats why i stumbled unto this video. I put my headphones in the washer on accident and they were also squeaking making a high pitch noise. I think its caused by the earphone ejecting water. The earphones seem to be working and the charging case too but i don’t know how water resistant the case is
I JUST pulled my husbands NEW Air Pods out of the washer, LOL Came right here and now I can sleep!!!!!!! WASHED not dried, gonna let it natural dry WOO!
I was fortunate enough that my Pros were dead for a few days before accidentally washing mine. A friend washed theirs while they still had power running through the battery/capacitors and it would horribly screech out of one side. In my case, I just set them aside and used a hair dryer on low speed, high heat and dried off each item (the two Pods and the case) individually for about one minute. If alternate drying them for ten seconds and letting them cool down for five seconds six times consecutively for that total minute of drying while also not getting too warm. Still work like a charm!
@@shoe421 that means they’ve got liquid damage and with AirPods being basically unrepairable, you’re probably not in too great of an outlook there. If they’re still in warranty, ask Apple if they’ll fix it and just don’t tell them what happened leading up to that point
i got mine for a week already and i can say the noice canceling feature is really cool but i feel the earbuds a bit uncomfortable, plus they tend to slip off my ear canal easily. The sound quality sounds identical to the last generation. however i’d prefer the airpods 2.... it ain’t worth the 262$ plus taxes
Galaxy buds did something very similar to transparency mode. Not sure why nobody cared about it then, its a cool feature so I hope other manufacturers do the same thing now that apple has done it!
Der Panzer They didn’t work😭 But I had them replaced for free! Though I had to get them replaced a second time because they started making weird crackly noises.
LMAO when you said that doesn’t sound normal someone should be able to tell their AirPods are shuffling around....You’re right I literally just took mine out of the dryer because I heard that noise aldslkskasml
I love mine, and find it very hard to lose them lol not sure I would forget them like this unless I was tired af, but yeah they are very much worth the money if you have it
i left my airpods pro 2nd gen in the dryer as well and was on highest setting 😭😭 and surprisingly it survived !!! the casing around the earpods melted tho but it still worked fine - only the battery sucks
I already accidentally washed and dried my AirPods so I already know the out come lol. They were fine btw!! Lol I wish this video had came out before I figured it out on my own :( keep up the good content!
@@plut8865 It could be the crackling issue. Apple have a repair program for this. They will change them for free when you don’t tell them that you wash them.
Monks The monkey I’ll tell you this right now a 1-2 ft drop will make them fly out and this is a bit of a problem. DONT DROP THEM. (Side note this was on hard floor)
This is not really a good test because most people would have more clothes then just one pair of pants in the washer and dryer machine so the headphones not beginning to round as much and the headphones well not easily fall out of the pocket with more clothes in there anyways
I accidently left mine in my pocket, now i also have the squeeking sound, but you had it once, and i have it constantly. Pls does anyone have tips im terrified😢😢🙏
My wife found mine in the washer after pulling my pants out. Before looking up this video I had her put them in a ziplock bag full of rice for 1 hour. Then after finding this video, she put them in the dryer for 30 mins with some other clothes. We could hear them banging around in there lol. Took them out the dryer, and low and behold they work just fine now!
Mine were washed and dried, and worked for a few days, then they started acting up, stopped charging unless connected to the wall jack and stopped connecting to certain devices.
My PowerBeats3 were left in the washing machine and I found them in a pool of soap and water And they worked perfectly fine after Maybe the sound quality went down but nothing noticeable....
S a m e , I accidentally put mine in the washing machine. but do you think it'll have less damage if the cycle was a bit slower than a normal washing machine speed? im worried about that
they actually have 3 modes, off is another mode. you can acess this mode in your control center by pressing down the volume paddle. You can make its so the airpods toggle between 3 modes in settings in bluetuth by pressing the button next to them
