Shots with the KSC MP9.
The brand of the real MP9 is "Brügger & Thomet", from Switzerland. It's an upgraded version of the Steyr TMP (Austria), with picatiny 20 mm rail, new trigger safety, folding stock. MP9 stands for "Machine Pistol 9mm".
Then, this is NOT a TMP. I know, the gun is called "TMP" in MW2, but that's an error of the game.
The airsoft version is great. Good accuracy, great sound, reliable... Only problem on mine : the bolt catch does not work great for some reasons. I don't know if it's just mine or if it's the same on every model of this gun.
I bought mine from an other airsoft player. It used to be sell on airsoft website like uncompany, ehobbyasia, dentrinity, redwolf airsoft... But it's hard to find now. It cost about 250 USD.
It's a fake Eotech 553 on it. About 60 USD on uncompany.
I bought my skull balaclava on RSOV for something like 10 bucks.

@ZuperZeize I don't know. What I know is that Steyr sold the design to Brügger & Thomet, who made an upgraded TMP, the MP9. It's not a new weapon, I give you that, but it's not the same weapon. It would be like saying that a M21 is the same thing than a M14, or a MK23 a USP.

@PhantomReconAirsoft Yeah I know that. That's precisely the reason why this gun is not a TMP. It would be like saying that a M21 is a M14, or the M4 a M16.

@Afterfield Yeah it does that some times with full auto gbb. The bb's I used for this video was kind of cheap quality too.

@jac0bbrant You're talking about the B&T TP9, which I believe is the civilian version of the MP9.

I have one of these, but the one used here appears to fire less hard for each shot. Is it because of insufficient/inefficient gas?

@indirectcash I think the rof is quite the same. Anyway, the rof is largely enough for my use. And the KSC has the good trademarks, which is kind of cool.

@lancetan1 What error ? To call a MP9 a TMP ? Yes, it is. They look similar, but they are not identical. And they are not the same gun.

I'm not trying to fake the recoil, it's just that the trigger is hard to pull on this gun, or at least it was on my model. But yeah, I understand your point.

@xCrimsonxTidex Yeah. Except that, well, no. TMP is not a "pre name", TMP is the name of the former gun on which the MP9 is based on. The TMP is made by Steyr, the MP9 is made by B&T.

@axman580 The only electric blowback that I like are the last tokyo maruis ebbr (G36k, AK74, AK100, M4 Sopmod, M4 CQBR, SCAR light, RECCE rifle...). Because the system mimics recoil, and it's quite fun. Other electric blowbacks just make the bolt cover move a little bit.

@darkerik411 I'm not sure of the difference, but I think KSC and KWA are from the same brand. But KSC guns are (I think) manufactured in Japan for Japanese market, and KWA in Taiwan, for the rest of the world (because japan law limits airsoft gun to 1 joule, something like that). From my own experience, KWA guns are a lot cheaper, but also less reliable than KSC guns.

I loved how one BB leisurely falls out of the end at around 25 seconds in. made me chuckle a little. I love your vids, being in Australia this is as close as i can generally get to real air-soft gun!

@blackfeng0 KWA is commun in the USA. I bought most of my guns from asian shops where KSC is more commun. Besides, I had a Glock 18C KWA that I didn't really liked.

No. This is an upgraded version of the Steyr TMP made by Brügger & Thomet, a Swiss company. They bought the rights of the TMP about 10 years ago. Compared to the initial Steyr TMP, the MP9 has a picatiny 20 mm rail, a new trigger safety and a folding stock. And even if you were right, that's the name of this airsoft gun.

@Chambers5852 Well it does that something with Airsoft guns, especially full auto. The bb's does not stay in the chamber and fall of the barrel. No big deal.

@schwiggidy Steyre sold the TMP design to Brugger & Thomet, which makes the TMP. Both use the same 9x19mm Parabellum rounds. The Mp9 is basically a more advanced version of the TMP, boasting a foldable stock, integrated rails, and a trigger safety not found in the TMP. So, in other words the TMP is the Mp9, but the Mp9 is a developement of the TMP.

@MrMosinNagant1937 The difference is that you're certain that carrying a gun will protect you from anything, which is not. There is a lot of chances that your gun is going to be used against yourself. That your opponent is going to panick and kill you, when he had no intention to kill you in the first place. Several instances. Yeah. There is also several instances of people being bitten by sharks. Does that mean that I need a chain suit everytime I go swimming ?

@JDSureshot9292 To be more precise TMP was originaly made by Steyr in austria, but they sold the production rights to brugger and thomet (i think its spelt like that) And they evolved it into the MP9 by changing several features such as adding a full length top rail.

@JDSureshot9292 Of course not. "TMP" is not a type of gun. It's a particular gun. Just like the M4 being... A M4A1, and not a "type of M16". "Tactical Machine Pistol" is the name of the TMP, just like "MP5" (which means "Machine Pistol" in german) is the name of the MP5 gun.

TMP's design was purchased by brugger, and they changed it. TMP is not an error, it's the old one.

would you recomend this gun for a serius player? i play alot of CQB/feild games, we play a game called "raid" you have to raid an old warehouse from an open feild, so you can go from shooting 100 feet to 15 feet in nothing. good for that type of game?, i like the look of the stock, i have pretty long arms, is the stock good? sorry for the stupid questions, im thinking of getting one.

I have the KWA version of this gun and it rocks! Although Ive found that the mags tend to jam quite often, though I've been told it's the bbs I use. Great channel man keep up the good work! -OZ

@Marius7ss the M21 is semi automatic sniperifle, the M14 is a fully automatic assult rifle it like the M4 and M16 all the parts are innerchangeable with each other because there on the same frame, but there not all M16s get it?

I'm french too, but I'll post in English in case someone can help me. Like KhanSeb, the bolt catch on mine doesn't seem to work, so it keeps shooting even when I'm out of BBs and I just have to rely on hearing the sound change or notice the BBs aren't going out anymore. It doesn't pose problems for shooting or playing, but I kinda think like I have a defective product... I didn't spot any breaks when I opened it.

Salut Khan, tu saurais me dire si cette réplique est bien en complément d'un sniper (cad si il est pas trop lourd, encombrant etc.) et si elle est autorisée pour le CQB (je dirais que oui vu sa faible puissance mais j'ai pas fait de vraie grosse partie donc je préfère te demander) ?

Do you have to force or assist the bolt forward? I have seen verious videos of people, who have to do that. I think about the MP9 as a replacement for my M93R.

@destroyeroflight23 No, that's a MP9. Video games are not (at all) a good references for firearms informations. and the sight does not matter. I could put a sniper rifle scope on this thing, it would stay a MP9.

Guys,the MP9 seen here is a model of an MP9 design that was BASED on the design of the TMP.There IS another model called the MP9 out there that looks nothing like this.

@Iamnoseworthy The MP9 is a machine pistol made by Austrian company Steyr Mannlicher, and is an evolved TMP, the previous version of the MP9. The MP7, is a sub-machine gun made by the famous German company Heckler Koch and is more heavier and larger than the MP9.

this is the KSC? not the new recent one from KWA? because i own a KWA KMP9 and the one in your video struggles to pump out gas whle KWA sounds firm even on full auto, so you know you have more than enough gas to empty out the mag

As far as I remember, Steyr-Mannlicher did make a TMP, Taktische Machinenpistole, with a picatinny rail on it? Correct me if I'm mistaking, but from my point of view, there's no difference between a MP9 and a TMP. Oh, btw, where did you get your EOTech? I've been looking for a while now, but haven't found any.

Also Mp9 is just a modern version of the older TMP, which is a way older gun than the hk mp7. Also mp7 has it's own ammo, where as the mp9/tmp uses a pistol caliber.
