I bought it first from Austria, and the drum mag wasn't working - returned it and then tried again in PL and drum mag wasnt working again. This time I sent it for repair/replacement as its in the same country but its really weird that it happened twice, with 2 different imports. Gun itself worked at least, hoping to try it out soon.

i run old RPK LCT bought in 2014. wont change it to rpk 16 for sure. LCTs are great for builds,mixed with real external parts. RPK parts impossible to get yet(rpk 16 i mean) but im working on my old RPK externals right now im happy with lct quality.but after serious external and interior upgrades)

Great to hear! I also run my oldest LCT AK74M since 2012, body is still working and I changed a lot of external parts against real parts. The internal parts get better and better passed the years. Also some outer parts like the charging handle (cast steel instead of stamped steel) since the the 2016 LCT Versions. I hope LCT or NPO will bring out a RPL 20 in the near future. Just a black 5.45 mag, not hard to find in Airsoft. I'd recommend E&L's if you run an E&L and CYMA's if you run anything else.

Does this gun have a quick change spring? Or is it complicated like in the video to change to spring?

It has a quick spring change so you don't have to open the gearbox but you have to dissasembly the gun completly.

Or are there new updates in later batches? Are there reliable resources or videos of a rpk-16 disassembly that I can use. Never opened up an aeg before.

finde das review echt gut und sachlich ne deutsche Version hätte mir noch gefallen. :-) . war jetz noch nicht auf der BW aber is da mehr wie 0.5j erlaubt bei vollauto ? oder hast se dan gedrosselt. und ist bei der LCK16 der Motor auch so bescheiden wie bei älteren modalen des Jahres 2019 (mach weiter so!)

Erstmal danke fürs Lob. Den Kanal wollten wir international halten, daher Englisch. Für deutsche Reviews gibt's ja Reaper und der reviewt bald jede Airsoft die auf den Markt kommt ^^. Borderwar ist in Tschechien, LMGs und MGs dürfen bis M150 Vollauto spielen. Wurde vor Ort umgebaut. Der Motor hat sich gebessert auch wenn er nach wie vor an keinen hochwertigen Tuningmotor rankommt, packt er eine M130 Feder mit 11,1v Lipp ohne Probleme mit ausreichender Kadenz.

All airsoft AK mags are interchangeable as real life caliber doesn’t matter. The only thing that does matter is compatibility between brands.

I was curious what battery you were using during the gameplay footage? Also, I will say that I think your English is quite good. There were a few words that I couldn't quite understand but overall as an American I didn't think it was too difficult. I'm also curious if you have put any upgrades into the gun, I know you mentioned it had trouble with the BBs you were using. Overall great review and congrats to your team for winning the first LCK-16!

Thank you for your feedback, this helps me a lot! I use 11,1v lipo sticks with following dimensions: Size: length 10.5 cm x width 2cm x height 1.5cm capacity: 1100mAh But you have to change the wiring a little bit so you can use such lipos. The dean plug should be at the end of the gearbox over the hop up. I don't put any upgrades inside the gun, I just change the standard spring for a M130 spring for the Borderwar MilSim.

Longer Barrel or do you mean the little wobbling? In both cases you would not have better shooting results.

@@airsoftgemeinschaftbodensee Not about the barrel wobble I was thinking prometheus tight bore, new bucking, new hop up. I was considering a suppressor with a longer inner barrel since I entirely play outdoors these days.

@@leleedler It's a 6.04mm better Standard Barrel inside, the most effect you would have with a better hop up rubber. Instead of Prometheus tight bore you can buy the LAMBDA tuning Barrel, it's also made in Japanese from a Ex employee of Prometheus and same quality but for the half of the price.

@airsoftgemeinschaftbodensee sehe ich das richtig, dass die verbindung zwischen outerbarrel und hopup support (das ding worin das hopup verschraubt wird) nur gesteckt ist ohne direkte Verbindung (schraube oder pin)? falls ja, sind die beiden aus dem selben material und könnte man theoretisch ein paar gewinde schneiden um die beiden Teile fest miteinander zu verbinden?

Genau die Hop Up Mount und der Outer Barrel sind zwei Teile. Normalerweise ist das bei allen anderen LCT AK Modellen ein Teil. Wieso LCT das so gelöst hat, ist mir ein Rätsel, es braucht wesentlich mehr Madenschrauben und gestaltet den technischen Aufbau unnötig komplizierter. Beides ist mit Bolzen und Madenschrauben unabhängig voneinander am Receiver montiert

@@airsoftgemeinschaftbodensee danke für die schnelle Antwort :) ich überlege auch grade mir das gute Stück zu zulegen und hatte überlegt das Frontset auseinander zu nehmen, dann ohne innenlauf und handguard wieder „zusammenzusetzen“, auf den seiten und an der unterseite der verbindung zwischen outerbarrel und hopup block löcher zu bohren, in diese gewinde zu schneiden und magenschrauben zur fixierung zu nutzen, dann müsste man beim auseinandernehmen nur den Handguard zuerst lösen, nach vorne ziehen, dann die madenschrauben lösen und könnte dann von da aus normal weiter zerlegen und müsste damit das Wackeln im Outerbarrel beseitigen können. Denkt ihr das könnte funktionieren?

@@g14_jojo33 klingt sehr kompliziert und dürfte schwer umsetzbar sein, da die Hop UP Mount aus Stahl und der Rearsight Block aus Stahlguss besteht. Sprich bohren und Gewinde rein schneiden wird sehr mühevoll werden. Das minimale Spiel am Außenlauf und Gasgestänge lässt sich wesentlich leichter beheben, indem man den Bolzen der durch den Handguard geht und den Außenlauf arretiert, um 1-2mm kürzt, damit dieser sich fester anziehen lassen könnte. Oder beste Option: den Außenlauf an die Hop Up Mount verschweißen, dann wäre das Wackeln nicht mehr möglich und der Außenlauf müsste wie bei klassischen LCT AK Modellen zusammen mit der Hop Up Mount demontiert werden. Aber wie gesagt das leichte Spiel ist eigentlich nicht wirklich schlimm.

Are you personally satisfied with this rpk? Could it be your main weapon? Otherwise, I personally have a problem with iron sights, the tiny wheel is terrible, you can't aim through it, they should stick to the original concept.

I'm satisfied with the LCK-16, if you image you can use it as a "LMG" with a Drum Mag at a MilSim event which give you a great advantage. But yeah the Aperture sight isn't useable for Airsoft, just install a Red Dot on the rail mount on the top.

So I already have a gun. It is very solid nowhere is there even a sign of wobbling. We had a problem removing the pin for inserting the battery, for which there is very little space, not even a classic Kalashnik stick can be used. A suitable weight for a 130M spring is 0.28, I also tried 0.25 but they are too light for fullauto and fly very unstable at the dose. I'm already looking forward to the end of the covid restriction and testing it 🤨

@@airsoftgemeinschaftbodensee So I played yesterday a tdm 5 vs 5. And as a support team full of dmr gases, I was able to cover the team and play the enemy who had the advantage of 4 aeg. The fact that I still have LCK in the base, so I had no problem against better modified rifles for the field limit. The weapon did not fail even once. So I'm very happy :) . My only personal problem is that after a year of not playing airsoft it softened like jelly so for me suddenly it was a problem to carry a 5kg gun :D But because of the covid :D . In the end, I didn't even have a problem with iron sights. But maybe it's because I've been playing with AK models for 10 years.

@@martinmaly6708 If ya play in MilSim are you automatically classified as a LMG? The LCT LCK 12/15 and 16 have the same internals, FPS, Rate of Fire with the exeption that LCK 16 has a shorter barrel compared to 12/15. Only thing that stands out is the Drum Mag. so if I play using a normal AK 47/74 MidCap can I be classified as a normal rifle like the LCK 12/15 classifications?

@@silencia08 With rpk 16 you have to be lmg. It is a real weapon used by the military, not just ak with a drum. It has a heavy forearm due to the landing of the weapon during doses, it is standard and is not adapted for it. Then only that the organizer should have a problem with other things such as the weight of the weapon, it is not always divided machine gun and LMG into categories separately.

Looks like it is a nightmare to disassemble? Looking at the disassemble gave me flashbacks to my Tippman TRX paintball gun that was shoot 4 balls then 1 hour of disassemble and clean the gunk out of it from broken paintball. It had 1000 tiny parts that would fly everywhere when you opened that thing.

No because it's not very bad and there are not much options to fix it. Maybe you cold clue it but this would be bad If you disassembly the gun.

@@offffofof The problem depends on the technical construction, because the outer barrel is only fixed with one pin. So I think other LCK-16 should have the problem too.

Servus, ich habs ein bisschen arg kurz gefasst, aber eigentlich ist jeder Schritt ersichtlich. Vllt. mehrmals anschauen damit du jeden Schritt siehst.
