I do not know what the "weapon hit" rule exacly means on your fields, but in Poland most of the fields have the rule that if your replica got hit and it is the only one you have (lack off sidearm) then you are out.

as long as i play airsoft, I get used to shooting opponents not in the head area shoot the head area if the situation requires it, but as long as the opponent is wearing head protection, it should be okay i've had hundreds, maybe thousands of BBs hit my head, but i don't have many complaints because i use complete head protection airsoft should always be fun, cheers up 🤙

They a similar rules on my field, if you get hit on the gun you your not dead BUT the gun is so you have to switch to you sidearm until you get hit out, if you have no sidearm then your out, i think its a good middle ground rule... At our field we do have weapon hit rule too. Youre not hit but your main weapon is out then and you need to take your secondary

Tbh weapon hit should be alright. It only disables your gun and not you especially if you still have another gun like a secondary. No headshots and bangbang rule SHOULDNT EXIST tho. Even point blank. Unless you’ve got snuck up on then maybe. If youre playing an emulated combat then dont bitch about being emulated headshot and hit. Stop bitching and be emulated dead if youre hit

The people claiming "W" hit should be forced to drop their primary, because in real combat, a real "W" hit would disable it, probably permanently.

Lol 'weapon hit' what a snowflake rule. IRL if your weapon took a hit from a rifle, or even handgun, it would potentially be disabled, requiring you to either change to another gun, or go back to Headquarters to get your spare. Technically a 'score'.

2.3J isn't that bad out limit at my local field is 2.8J with a 100ft med. I don't know what your med is there with 2.3 but I don't know why they are whining about being shot in the face. We do have the gun hit rule because the owner of the field. His life was saved while deployed. His rifle stopped a bullet and saved his life. I've personally never had an issue with the rule. Then again most people can't tell if it hit their rifle first.

Ok, i don't know how the guy hit in the helmet could have his weapon hit unless he was shooting with his tongue. This seems like a load of bullshit to me AND like a "get out of jail pass" for a cheater. That one had his weapon nowhere near his head when he got hit in the head. It's different if you're actually aiming and get hit in the rifle. Still, if excuses are allowed, they CAN be free for all to use. And, Mustang, if they complain about headshots, just aim for groinshots. It doesn't matter what dick you hit, upper or lower.

Weapon hit... Well actually I think thats fair.. as long as the one taking and calling the weapon hit agrees that for the rest of that particular game event the weapon is now done.. Or They can call it a kill and take the kill and respawn. Measure the weight of the call they want to make. If you call the weapon hit a judge comes over and the weapon is surrendered until the end of that particular event. Most players do not bring that many weapons, especially back up favorites they use. So trying to play the restbof a rpund in a event mode without theor weapon would make things difficult. Basically make it a decision that is a sacrifice call for them to makt.. take the hit or take the weapon call and lose the weapon. Sounds fair to me.. pretty sure most will end up just calling the hit and keep the weapon and just go respawn..

If 'weapon hit' become common place, how long until 'armour hit' creeps in? After all in real combat, soldiers wear armour and can survive being shot, so why not Airsoft players?

In the interest of realism under combat conditions, if someone claims a 'weapon hit'; fair enough. BUT... under the same conditions that would mean that that particular weapon would be deemed unusable for the rest of that round. No?

I've played with weapon hits disabling the gun you are actively USING. But it only works that way if you have a secondary to switch to. Hits on slung or holstered weapons are a kill.

one place I played there was weapon hit rule, but if you call weapon hit, and you have side arm, you have to put away the weapon got hit and switch to secondary or just call the hit and go back to respawn. that way, you either call your hit fully, call weapon and switch or just don't call anything, but this is cheating anyway. I think this is more fair, than just shout weapon hit and walk as nothing happend

weapon hit should be a thing (cause the odds of managing a clean hit on the weapon is low and requires alot of skill to do), but not as a means to kill the player as some will carry a second weapon or even a melee one with them also. if your weapon is hit. you can't use it till your ACTALLY hit in my opinion would be a better rule than weapon hit equals kill hit.

When a field have the stupid weapon hit rule, they should twisted a bit on that rule and it should be like if your airsoftweapon is hit, then the weapon is out of order for that round and secondary is then the only weapon you can use for the rest of the game, until its ended.

Wouldn't a "weapon hit" in the real world possibly disable a weapon? Therefore (if true) wouldn't that disable it and effectively disable the weapons owner/shooter too?

Yeah it’s a ridiculous rule, you’re playing a combat sim for fuck sake. A rifle won’t stop a round fired at you, so even if it’s a weapon hit it’s also a you hit.

The field that I play at in Texas that have this rule in place, but have a extra part to it. It’s when you get a weapon hit, and if you have a secondary on you then you can stay in and switch to the secondary. But I am 50/50 on this ruling.

Curious as a non player...In the weapon hit rule, does the rule-play say drop your primary and go to secondary? I guess that's pretty hard to police on the game field.

Enjoy the content 90% of the time the other 10% is just seeing unneeded headshots when centre mass is very exposed to aggravate people who just want to enjoy the game themselves

The field i went to had a weapon hit rule, but you couldn't use the weapon that was until you returned to spawn. That's pretty fair I think. (If people abide by it at least)
