Ghillie’ing up and running along side my mates (including ‪@NamesNicco‬ & ‪@silly_ghillie‬) at the National Airsoft Festival 2023 on Team Bravo. We run into a few grumpy Airsofters on our way.
Watch as we make our way through some gruelling terrain to find ‘Delta’ and ‘Others’ to take out at Ground Zero, home to the largest Airsoft Game on the UK Airsoft calendar.

The only issue I have with ghillies is they have so much crap on them that it pads the hits and they don't claim they got hit half the time. I started shooting for the face which I try not doing if I can help it but ghillies get face and hand shots now. Other than that its and excellent strategy.

I like how your shots seem more real than with some other airsoft snipers. It sometimes seems like some players edit videos of theirs to look like they are shooting lasers - editing out messed up shots, moving crosshair overlay closer to the target, adding hit marks where they did not hit, etc... this may be not true, but some airsoft sniper edits look just too perfect for me. In this video I see wind corrections, stray shots, i can see how long-range shots are carried to the side by the slight breeze... oh and those f*cking branches and leaves! :D Your videos are the closest to the real airsoft sniping experience.

@@jaatinejaatine1418 I think it's fair to say, that your guess is close to the stable ;) I used to love this dude's videos, IF anything they've made me join airsoft in the first place. But the more I've seen, the more problematic it became - I really get that there are salty people that just got outplayed and are fuming, for sure, but KM is also doing things that are WAY uncool (and mostly for the sake of the views), without going into details. There are many RU-vidrs that post their recordings of games on more known UK fields, and they never had a ban. He's banned in most, most of the time for same reasons. That's not accidental.

As someone who is homeless and lives in a tent. You must get a lot of Ticks on you crawling through and sitting in bracken. Even if you're fully covered they seem to get in. It's amazing how you can stay hidden though. I don't wear a Gillie suit, obviously but just by being still and wearing drab colours people walk right past you. Town folk just aren't tuned in to that environment at all. It's like they are deaf and blind. One tip. Listen to the birds. They go quiet if someone is moving so you get what I call a "bubble of silence". You can track it's movement if you sit and listen. I can tell where people are walking nearby whilst lying in my tent. From the spread I can even tell if they have a dog. It's like a radar.

most people just do not know how to get out of green. need to be yellow at a min in this game. a guy in red is a winner. but not many birds in the mts i go to. ticks hate a couple chems. so works great for me. flying blood sucker. amazing i do not get anemic. but looks like no poison oak in england. i would be in the hospital in a induced coma if i rolled around in it like you do. the stuff is nasty here. almost had to get skin replacement one year.

Having binged many Airsoft vids, by yourself and others, I fail to understand the mentality of players whining about being shot or having to 'face' a sniper in a ghillie in a game for which they knew they'd a great potential of being peppered and facing hidden threats. If they didn't wish to participate in a live-action military combat sim and deal with the many challenges involved, they should have stayed home.

I can see how snipers could slow down the action to a point where the game becomes slow and boring, at least to some people. If that's the case though, man-child should be calling for a per team limit on snipers/ghillie suits rather than bitching at the player who shot him.

I used to play paintball a couple decades ago... I love the ghillie sniper type of gameplay... I don't see why people get so mad at it. I'd love to try airsoft at some point.

because you probably do not realize what a crazy advantage they have. if this is just some casual event without rules and you show up with 3 suit snipers in a woodland setting, that is WILD. of course you are going to wipe the floor with every team who does not match that. and putting up a vid about that and mocking those guys is silly. if there was rules in place and every team knew that they could field that number of people using special equipment, then that is on them, but otherwise you are just being desperate and these guys got every right to be mad.

@@MrSheduurIt is a National Airsodt Festival. Majority of the players there have full knowledge that there will be snipers, and the players who get upset about snipers have no reason not to expect snipers at a NAF

We used to play paintball like this. It's tough to argue when you have paint smattered on your lens. Ghillie suits were banned where we played after a few years. 😂😂😂

Nice video! 20 years younger, this would have been fun. Doing this without camo, much less a ghillie makes no sense. If you weren't already convinced that armed civilians are vastly outclassed by trained combatants, just imagine this at night with thermal scopes. At the risk of a terrible pun, it's night and day. 😳

It's just pointless to play like that. And everyone who thinks in real war it is like that too. No it's not. 1. Normally a sniper has to change position after every shot to avoid being detected. 2. Rush for a sniper? Stupid idea smart guys. If you encounter a sniper as a group you only have the following options: call for artillery, Airstrike or leave the area. So why you play like that in a GAME where every player wants to have fun? If I see three snipers like that running into the forest in an area like that, I pack my things and go home.

As much as I think ghillies suits are really cool and deserve respect when the camping the spawn it just becomes toxic. Yesterday I played airsoft at a field and we were playing conquest/domination and we had 2 guys in ghillies camping just around the corner outside our spawn so I couldn't get out of spawn and neither could 10 other guys

I think your misunderstanding the role of a ghillie sniper dude. They don’t camp, they get themselves into a position and pick off players with single precise shots. If you or your team are not good enough to look for them and flank or watch for movement then they are doing their job correctly. Don’t get mad get better

Airsoft don't make much noise, so camping in a ghille suit is just dumb. If everyone played like that, then the sport would die. Nothing says you can't use a ghille suit, but if you can't see why it bothers people, then that's on you.

dont think its so much the suppresor as it is the wolverine bolt hpa system. I use the wolverine inferno and its is very quiet.

Airsoft place near me banned Ghillie snipers as too many people started getting angry and started going elsewhere, which probably had snipers too😂 People wanted more of that "COD" experience I guess.

The only thing I can think of that makes people mad about snipers is face shots but you don’t do that which I think is really cool because face shot are often unnecessary and can make the game no longer fun for people

This is a problem with people getting angry at snipers. Its not that they dislike snipers, its that snipers create frustrating situations where nothing happens. Same happens in cqb where its a defence-attack situation, and attackers are stuck in a spawn-trap. If you have ACTUALLY played airsoft, you know what its like. This is why these videos are for either for hate-watch, or for non-players.

What gloves are you wearing ? Need something with protection, but still lots of feel for off road green laning on motorbikes, and choices are slim in the bike sector

The bright arm band defeats the purpose of the ghillie suit. I expect its purpose is to identify the team affiliation of the wearer, but is there any way around having to put that on? It would be confusing if all the players had similar garb. So I think I just answered my own question. Maybe having them worn on the ankles would make them less conspicuous.
