Hi thanks for your review of the airthereal composter. I have had a Lomi for about 3 years with limited satisfaction. I found that the Lomi frequently had caramelized gunk on the bottom of the canister which had to be chipped out with sharp tools. Also, even though I pre chopped my scraps, the blades would freeze and stop grinding. The final straw was when it stopped heating and just ground scraps. What I need to know is: 1) the warranty on the airethereal composter, 2) whether I can set the unit out in a sheltered outdoor environment (like my outdoor kitchen), 3) how often I need to replace the carbon filter, 4) what is the cost of the replacement carbon filters 5) and are there club subscriptions I need to pay into airethereal composter.

Hello. The warranty is pretty much standard 1 year limited warranty. Because of it heating, being out in an unheated area I think would drive up the cost of using it and too much moisture would be bad of the circuits, (humidity,etc.) I change mine about 3 times a year, sometimes twice. Right now the replacement filter are about $30. USD. I do not know of a subscription but I also have not looked for one so there might actually be one.

For the price, it really is a Vitamix FoodCycler FC-50 killer. It's not going to give you the same quality output of a FoodCycler Eco 5, though. I'm still waiting for a Costco sale on that one.

I feel bad, I'm still on the fence. How is the English manual? Is it like 4 pages long or 10? Does it tell explicitly what should go into the composter? Because I've seen different opinions about meat in composters. Help again please sir. I retired early at 48 due to health reasons. Now at 58 I'm doing slightly low middle class for money. I need to live like a pauper while I make sure I have enough money so that I'm not a pauper. So long story short, does provide great information or the bare minimum?

The manual is 11 pages long. it does tell what can be put into it. I personally have never put meat into it. I don't think that I would. It does heat up enough to dry out even cucumbers. I am still using it all the time. Thank You for watching.

I am having trouble getting the unit to turn on according to instructions. Lights don't come on when I plug it in and when I press the on/off button - nothing. I push the button several times and nothing and when I walk away, it starts. In this video, it kinda looks like he pushes the button a couple times. I haven't called the manufacturer yet. BTW I bought refurbished. I have had this for almost a month and am getting ready to use it for the 6th time. I think I will call and see if anyone can walk me through the issue. I will touch back here with the response.

I have found that it usually is the flange on the lid that is supposed to press down the plate that lets it know the lid is closed. I have heard people using things to extend this flange but I would call and ask for help. Thank You for watching,

Hi one last addendum to my previous comment: Lomi had a terrible customer service line. A telephone number which "cannot take your call at this time..." and "email which is having high traffic and will take a long time to reply". What's the customer service like in Airethereal? Where are they based??
