Awesome! I like that you can use it as a hub, it can be powered with batteries or USB-C and it has a new sensor.

Got my View Plus last week, nice product. The screen is very convenient for quick access to numbers. The "ghosting" of the screen is something I didn't expect as the promotional/pre-order videos didn't show it but after some research, I realized its a normal operation of the E-ink screen and not a defect. Overall, 4.5/5 star rating from me and nice addition to your existing Airthings Eco system.

So I just bought your View Plus, and without letting it on my wifi with Internet access it is completely useless and doesn't even show current values on display. Of course you don't mention this in your promo materials. Shame on you.

How do I power this via the USB cable to act as the hub for my other 4 sensors? Using a Samsung phone AC wall adapter will work?

Why not Home Kit enabled? Does the app allow widgets aswell?

How is the Home Assistant support for View Plus? (I see an Airthings integration, but wasn't sure if it worked with all models?)

Does this replace/supersede the need for the dedicated Airthings Hub? Can it still be used with an existing Airthings Hub connected via Ethernet? If you have multiples of these and other devices, do you assign one to be the main Hub or do they all act as a Hub for all devices?

Hey! Great question! 😊 Our View Plus will include the Hub functionality, connecting other Airthings monitors, such as Wave Plus, Wave Radon or Wave Mini. It can't be connected with a Hub though - it can only function as a Hub itself. How do you monitor multiple rooms? I suppose you need a separate sensor unit in each room. Could you please explain.

Hi Zoltan, you can use the View Plus as a Hub to connect multiple devices. Monitoring different rooms at the same time will indeed require using one device per room (Wave Radon, Wave Mini, Wave Plus or View Plus), depending on the room you want to monitor.

Hey Austin, our View Plus has 7 sensors, including radon, CO2 and PM2.5, but it doesn't measure formaldehyde. More info about the device and its sensors you can find here: www.airthings.com/view-plus
