AirTran 737 taking off from Boston 

Only flew in and out of Boston once, and no matter the weather, you get great views, in my opinion. Great video! Gotta love the AT 737's.

Thats a great video. I was a First Officer with Airtran on a 737-700 from PHF-ATL and more. Very good shot of the fort there near Logan. I have flown into Logan many of times and never had time to video. Now I work with Southwest, so different routes for me now. Same aircraft.

Great video. Flew on AirTran a couple of years ago from Milwaukee to Vegas. Although the 737's seating is tight, for max revenue, they're like the "sports car" of commercial airliners. It was the first time I flew in almost 20 years and I don't remember ever banking, like in your video, after takeoff. Our flight was the same way. We took off south to north and then immediately banked hard left to a western heading. Again...great video!

@airtran52 You generally need to sit ahead of the engines to hear this sound on a 737. The 717 is great because it has sch a unique sound and it can be heard from anywhere in the cabin.

@aeroplano111 I just found out that Airtran takes off on auto throttle and after they pass 1000 feet AGL the go to manuel throttle. Its there policy

@videoproducer100 It depends on a lot of factors but 9 times out of 10, the power will be reduced for takeoff.

At 2:24 looks like he didn't have enough thrust

what the hell? that sounds like a 717, i was on a 737 airtran 4 times and it never sounded like that
