This arrived in a glossy box with an image of the diffuser on the front, and the key features listed on the back and sides, along with specifications. Once opened the diffuser is held between two pieces of bespoke foam. This comes with a USB type A to USB-C charging lead, replacement tubes for drawing up the oil, and a user manual.
First impressions: this is a very compact unit with two parts to it, and a weight of 400g. I like the look of it with the glass bottom for the oil contrasting against the diamond patterning of the top. The base simply screws on and off making it very easy to fill. All the controls are on the top, with a USB-C inlet near the top for charging. This sits nicely on a flat surface with a rubber disk on the bottom that holds it firmly.
After unpacking I put the diffuser on charge using the supplied lead, and then had a good read through the user manual. The manual is well laid out with linked diagrams for identification, and a detailed breakdown of the functions and features. I filled the glass base with 50ml of 100% essential oil and held the power button to start. The controls are touch button, and you hold to initially enable with the power and light buttons. You can change the mist setting between low, medium, and high with a tap on the power button, this increases the mist dispense time along with reducing the time period between dispensing. The light is off initially, and enabled by holding the light button, and you can cycle through the colours with a simple tap on the button. I found the light subtle, and showing through the glass at the bottom, and at the nozzle on the top.
I have been using this diffuser for several days now, and am impressed with its performance. I have several diffusers that use water mixed with a few drops of oil which work fine, but in the winter with most of the windows closed I find they cause a lot of condensation, so really like this waterless system.
Overall this performs really well, I like that it is wireless so it is very easy to move around. The adjustment for dispensing works well for both small areas and larger rooms. The timer can be set so it will run for 1, 2 or 3 hours at a time, or it can be left running, and will shut itself off when the battery runs out. Although this only has 100ml capacity it is not diluted so should last at least a week or more depending on usage. Overall I really like this diffuser and the waterless system.
