There cannot be another Pancham and there cannot be another lataji. Only Pancham can compose this master piece and only lataji can make it timeless. This is one of the reasons why today's generation still sings old songs in reality shows.

No female singer even today had this shine in voice. Beside sweetness and Clearrity Lata jis voice had too much shine. Her voice literally floating and sparkling on music track. After Lata ji only Alka ji and Sadhna ji have some shine in voice but no other singer have thatm Sreya voice is just sweet no shine no range.

Yes. You are absolutely right. I am an Indian, much into Rock, psychedelic rock, altrenative, grunge, progressive... etc. And i am parallely, much into Hindi movie music, and in Hindi Rock too. This is one of the best music compostions i have come across, and it is pretty psychedelic... or progressive. That whole thing from 0:40 minutes - Prraa paa paa.... and the up and down of the chord progression.... it is so subliminal.. .

Huge respect for the creators of this song, sad that most of them are not physically present. What an amazing time that was, no matter how the movies was, the music was also top notch. Now, the movies have characters which are more soulful, but the music is losing its charisma. Hope they can balance the two.
