I love this island. We spent part of our honeymoon here. I would choose it over Bora Bora any day! Bora Bora has too many tourists and is outrageously expensive.Bora Bora is beautiful but the rustic charm or Aitutaki beats Bora Bora in many ways. I can't wait to say Kia Orana again!
@@johnnytheirishman3387 It depends on what kind of accommodation you look for and for how long. Return ticket to Rarotonga cost only a few hundred NZD. Aitutaki is only 45 minutes fly from Rarotonga. Accommodation ranges from 30-40NZD per night all the way up to 5-600NZD per night. The island has backpacker style accommodations, guest houses and 5 star hotels.... You can also rent a scooter or bicycle there. But I would recommend scooter if you are not fit enough because the main island is quite big. 😃
