The combination of the shots you take with your music feels like you are taking us on a journey to an unknown world. National Geographic needs to hire you Dan and I mean that.
I went to Autitaki on my honeymoon in 2008 and this immediately transported me back in time. Now if you don't excuse me, i'm off to look at flights and book another trip. Great video! Thank you for sharing!
i was in Aituaki twice, the last time in 2010. I would like to go back there one day(who knows maybe in max 2 years from now). it has been, so far, the most beautiful place I have ever seen, also for the atmosphere. my fav place on the island is the sandbar named "honeymoon island", near Maina Island, simply mind boggling beauty
It really is a special place and a place I would also like to return to! Hopefully all this CV chaos will pass and the travel and adventures will start back up soon enough! Thanks very much for your kind words and channel support my friend! dan
I am from Indonesia I like watching video like this that show us many places and some beautiful islands ini the world so I can know about many places thank you for your nice video 👍👍🌹
and the bonefishing in the lagoon is world class. Hoping to get out there again and get more fishing time in on the next trip. Thanks as always for the support :)
Wow I really appreciate your kind words and channel support. Some of those places in Long Island and Aitutaki honestly feel like another world. Just so insanely breathtaking!!! And honestly hard to take a bad photo or video. Hardest part is just getting there!! Thanks again for watching and commenting. Take care, dan
@@WhatMyLensSees No problem! I look forward to seeing the beauty myself one day! Your videos have been on loop while I play other music/clean/work. Great motivational pieces and excellent videography, plus their breathtaking like you've said! Thank you again for your time and effort, please know that a lot of us greatly appreciate your work! Take care of yourself!
It really is that beautiful and it really is worth the extra effort. The most common way to reach Aitutaki is by air and the only airline to fly the route is Air Rarotonga. Aitutaki can easily be visited as a day trip.
really appreciate your comment and couldn't agree with you more. If you're in "the area", Aitutaki is an absolute must visit. Might honestly be the most beautiful island I've ever visited. I just checked out your channel and love it my friend. What a concept ... escape the Minnesota winters and find eternal summer. I think you're on to something there and I might have to follow the trend you've set! Just subscribed and look forward to following along in your adventures, dan
É definitivamente uma ilha dos sonhos. Estou com ciúmes das 1700 pessoas que chamam de lar. Eles vivem em um verdadeiro paraíso tropical. Obrigado pelo seu comentário e suporte ao canal! dan
It's pretty incredible. Definitely hoping we can get back there someday soon to explore that lagoon even more! I have a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus, and it's been an awesome addition to the camera bag! A bit of a pain to travel with, but that's my only complaint really. If I were to buy one now (since the phantom line is discontinuted), I'd definitely go for the Mavic Air 2. Seems to pack a lot of features into a drone half the size of mine. Also use some filters/polarizers which really helps to keep the footage looking solid.
We were just there in Oct 2019. We stayed at pacific resort. I was really looking foward to getting some drone shots and went away from everyone and did a short flight very high and away from people. Afterword the manager came over to our hut and royally chewed me out for flying. He was actually quite rude about it. I had just come from there sister resort on Raratunga and was told it was ok to fly by the resort folks. So if your planning to go and fly just know you will be hassled. The manager pointed up and down the beach as far as you could see and said you cant fly anywhere. like he owned the island. Flying on Roatanga was not allowed in most places as well because of wild dogs everywhere. I was bummed to say the least sense that's what I went to the islands to do. Had I known I would have chosen somewhere else. I did do a private boat out to one foot like in your vid and got some great shots so it was not a total loss,
I’m really sorry to hear that. But it unfortunately doesn’t come as a surprise. I’ve been hearing quite a lot about how the resort has changed the past couple years, and unfortunately not for the better. Sorry that happened because I’m sure it put a real damper on your trip. I hope you were able to get out into the lagoon to do some filming away from the resort. And thanks for the comment and channel support! dan
@@WhatMyLensSees Thanks, ya took a private tour to one foot and did some flying. Making a vid for some honeymooners we met there right now. Your shots are great by the way! Thanks for sharing Dan! Leland
seems like there should be at least a little wildlife, but hardly anything. amazing. humanity has screwed up the entire planet including all of the south pacific. only Palmyra is still alive. nice going people.
