I used to own this stereo during my tenure in Dubai. OMG...what an awesome stereo it was....I never heard any machine better than this....bass and clarity...and that mouth watering design and amazing looking angles...I miss my NSX-KT9 …..It was so painful to see Sony owning Aiwa in 2002 and then finally killing it in 2006...I miss original Aiwa a lot....
The brand labeled ‘aiwa’ that is being used by some corps in various countries is not the original brand. The original aiwa died in 2002 when sony purchased and changed it altogether.
I still have a nsx-s888 just connected 2 x 12s and mids and tweeters and it absolutely blows my JBL 3.1 soundbar away and even my 7.1 samsung blu ray home theatre these Aiwa systems were just something else
I still have my NSX-k765 i remember deciding for the cone woofer model instead of ported because the ported one sounded hollow although more powerful :) it was back in 1999
i had serval of these brand in boomboxs & Hifi stereo like this back in 80s & 90s i grew up , was REALLY damn good brand like Sony & Panasonic was back then , good ole dayss
Here in Brazil this device is very expensive. It can cost up to $ 300 if it is well maintained and fully functioning. I already saw the T96 / T99 also in Brazil working. Aiwa T series are very strong and powerful.
One of my favorite music system! Good sound quality in all models, AIWA was the best music system forever, I have 3 systems of aiwa but I m searching this t9 model! Ohhhh, its awesome condition & beautiful!!!
It’s very hard to find one especially this model, they were limited in quantity and were mostly sold to Asia market. They were never sold to US market. I bought it when I was in Dubai from a guy who actually bought it from Philippines. I lost my aiwa during cargo....
Agnaldo Souza I have this system, shit sucks, terrible highs, no mids, horrible boomy bass. It’s ok for a backyard stereo but anything els garbage, if you want some real good equipment check out Yamaha, JBL, QSC, infinity, or rsl.
@@miespost Briefly, I had the top-of-the line Dolby Digital version of this same design and it had major hum. I was so sad to send it back, it really was a beautiful system but I knew there was something either in the power supply or the amplifier.
@@miespost i have had a few aiwa speakers and all of them sucked ass exept for one pair the sx-f12 shit pounds mids are decent and highs a decent but they really shine on the bass
@@randomweirdyoutubechannel8955 those actually look nice, similar to the Sony apm’s. I used to have one of the all in one aiwa’s with the bi amp and man the bass thumped on that thing but I could never switch to it from my m&k sound monitors, the tweeters it had were just so bad.
It's a great system very well built, however it lacks in quality sound, specifically medium frequencies and, medium high frequencies. I would be nice a medium speaker 4" plus a silk dome tweeter.
AIWA was head and shoulders above many systems till it became aiwa. Try hearing their C30 P30 micro preamp and power amp and you will understand real quality. Even AIWA system 22 was superb
My childhood memories my dad give this when I was in school 1999.. Im using this system in 2020.. speakers attached to my new home theatre but main problem is cd changer. system start and after 1 minute is all screen blanks
Have the same Aiwa Nsx T9 :) great and powerfull but the Casette deck dont plays i think its problem belts must changed have anyone video how i can change it that???
