Good video. Aiwa sounded better to me too. Plus, Bose sounds great ... when they work. I've had several Bose speakers and headphones and every single one of them has had issues. I'd never buy that brand again.
I could hear the difference through a phone speaker. Tells a lot. I honestly was never impressed with the Sound link Mini 2. The original Sound link 2 blew it away.
Looks like a pretty solid little speaker other than the dated micro-USB charging. BTW, theX-100 has no "subwoofers", but rather passive radiator. And Aiwa is pronounced like the state Iowa, not Awa.
Great review, thanks for that. Can you please explain how to connect two Aiwa's wirelessly in stereo mode? I have a friend that bought two and she's having a hard time connecting them together and I can't find anything online. Thanks in advance.
1. Turn on both speakers. 2. Double press TWS button (beside power button) on both speakers 3. Wait for the Beep sound 4. Turn on your phone bluetooth and connect to one of the speakers. 5. Should work from there
I know!!! That was the biggest disappointment I have out of the aiwa. I almost have nothing that uses micro usb anymore, so I would love to get away from micro usb too. With that said, it still sounds a bit bitter than the Bose.
@@Patata0ke Several reasons...first, it is OLD tech now...second, and most important imho, the connector can be very difficult to align properly, especially when some manufacturers make the connector in their product more obscure so that you can barely tell which is the slightly smaller part...third, it's just crap and time to move on! lol
@@7duke77 i don't see some reason to hate microUsb. only it's data transfer speeds is slower w/c manufacturer only made it available to usb type c to make it more sort of a successor. On the charging side every manufacturer can put fast charging on it depending on the supported device. The last one w/c also I think most people hate is it's design. microusb cannot be plugged in reverse position. 😂 Don't know people are not contended on very little differences. 🤣
There is no jbl speaker of this size that can compete with either of these two speakers. Don't buy into the hype or advertising of speakers. Get them and compare. Return the one you don't like. I guarantee if you bought all three, you'd return the jbl.
