Aizen was later on Immortal and stated that he had to be sealed in order to avoid fighting with him. In tybw manga He was sealed with most of his powers sealed and sitting on the chair he used the most strongest kido spells without chanting (which is considered godly level as they need so much power and mental strength to do so and he was able to do that on a whole soul society level ). He then willinly went back to his seal e.g back to Muken where he was sealed. Thats it for helping your explanation.
