iirc he wasnt the 1st in PVP but Top4 i think... dont forget that Heteromorph have huge disadvantages against other races.. the fact that he managed to get so high speaks highly of his control and skill overall ... also i think the Karma Ratings go from between -500 to 500.. Sebas has 300 Positive Karma.. but compared to everyone else in Nazarick ...yup he is a pretty nice guy overall
To a point, but its also that their personalities were 'filled in' with some of their creator's traits. This is why they remind Ainz of his friends so much.
Overlord uses the D&D tier system, with many added spells. So there are 10 tiers (+ something I dont wanna spoiler it to you). Between each tier, there are huge gaps, basically its like every 7. level you can use a better tier spell, if you are level 7 you can use tier1, level 14 you can use tier 2, and so on, I dont wanna talk more about this, because that would spoiler everything, but basic knowledge like this wont hurt:D. so between a tier5-6 summon (like Death Knight) and a Tier 9 summon, the difference is just like between heaven and earth, giantic.

In terms of the magical power system in Overlord, the maximum tier of regular magic is tenth. But there is also super level magic that is above tier 10th, which can be achieved by various forms/items (Spoilers). So level 9 (that of the spell graps hearth) is considered very high, level 5 (that of dragon lightning) is considered medium level
no no no, tier 5 is already above anything a human could achieve, lvl 6 or 7 is the realm of legends 8 9 is the realm of myth and tier 10 and above is the realm of the gods, in terms of tiering.

Not really a spoiler: Info about the Death Knight. They're considered weak in Yggdrasil but they're very useful for mages because they act as tanks while their summoner is casting a spell. Their total hp is very high considering their level and the fact they turn their victims into zombies makes them bothersome to deal with.
The most important reason they often use as meat shield is that Death Knight can survive anything fatal with 1 HP remaining no matter what kinds of attacks are thrown at it no more than one time.
9:00 Pretty potent healing potion, it even healed the clothes. The Goblin horns were considered trash items in Yggdrasil he got them from the gacha games in his game, Ains is a collector and would spend money playing those games till he won the main prize. Since he played those games till he won he has lots of the minor items won along the way he'll be tossing those out like candy. Small trinkets in Yggdrasil may be more powerful in this world so Ains could be causing himself more problems for the future. Ains is all about information, before he would do a PvP against someone he would research everything he could about his opponent.
Momonga/Ains loves GRASP HEART because it's not only an instant death spell, it has a stun effect if it fails. He can use this stun to retreat from battle.
A small information for the Death Knight and the Levelsystem of the Yggdrasil game: A Death Knight is Level 35, which is pretty middle tier moster for Yggdrasil Players. In the New World though, it requires an amazing amount of strength for humans just to bring down one of them. Those soldiers, who attacked the village, are probably around Level 10. And in the game, a Level difference of only 5 Level can make it very difficult up to impossible to defeat a Monster or even a other Player.
i think the spells/skills in overlord is up to 10th tier but it also has a defacto 11th tier or the super tier and the strongest is the world tier, world tier spells/items can only be cancelled by same tier also fun fact: Ains Ooal Gown is the guild when it became the biggest and strongest guild in the game, the original name was actually Nines Own Goal named as the first original 9 members of the guild
I think there were more powerfull guilds in the game they where like 5th or 6th. Trinity seven was an Angel guild I believe and they were more powerful.
@@NotSentient you're right. Ainz Owl Gowl was famous due to that 1500 player raid plus they were top10 with only 41 members. At the start of story where only ainz and hero hero are active Ainz Own Goal was ranked in 40s(still very powerful)
Btw every time after the first two episodes, he's not using the real staff, because it's the guild weapon and he doesn't know what'll happen if it breaks.
Sebas is the one of a few 'good' people in the great tomb he a man of honor ^^ and Gazaff if a great man. ya Touch Me name was a taunt and he was the one and only World Champion class, so he was top of the top ^^
What's funny is that Death Knight is the more defense oriented of his Middle Tier Undeads, at least to what we know. It means that if he used a more offense oriented one, he would be even stronger
Funny enough, the pun with the name Touch Me was not only overlooked by the audience but also by the guild members themselves, I guess we all thought it was another kind of joke.
Finally neel got it, Ainz wasn't transported into the game he was transported into another world, I was wondering how long he was going to notice that, alot of people that watch overlord think Ainz was transported to the game but inreailty he was transported into a new world
i love how Albedo's armor is not the usual sexy female armor that doesn't cover shit, but it's actually a badass full-body armor. So she's the tank type, max HP max Def kind of build feels like.
Not only that. Her creator was quite the perfectionist. Albedo in this armor _cannot_ be killed in less than three hits, even if you use the strongest attack in Yggdrasil. To that end, Tabula Smaragdina (her creator) even did something against the guild rules. Of course, in this new world her level of defense is pretty much useless...
@@Absurdated i mean i stand by the fact that Albedo and Shalltear are stronger than Ainz, when he had to 1v1 Shalltear he started the battle with like 50 buffs, casted a spell in advance so Shalltear started the fight at half HP, and he still needed to use like 3 premium items to win (including a broken one to cast a spell with zero casting time). Nazarick tops "NPCs" are broken AF
Spoilers: The world of Overlord knows 2 magic systems, wild magic and tier magic. Wild magic is practiced by dragonlords which is on par with world items and all other races use the tier magic system. the tier system ranges from Tier 1-10 + super tier. Most humans with aptitude for magic will cap at tier 3 which something like a fireball spell, the highest tier spell humans can use is tier 6, with only 1 user. Ainz himself can cast spells up to tier 10 and super and made his character specifically to be able to use as many spells are possible within the game of Ygdrassil with the Dark Wisdom skill, he can memorize a total of 718 different spells at once.
Gazof is a fav character of mine, I like his simple but badass looking design. Sebas is my second favorite. I saw a silhouette of his other form (like how Demiurge has a second form) and he looks cool.
When Ainz was in Yggdrasil, the game, normally in PvP they just used 9th or 10th tier magic, sometimes 8th tier but just barely used that tier, so killing someone with a 5th tier magic is like some kind of joke for lvl100 players back in the game, they would take that as a joke getting attacked by a 5th tier magic
I love your reactions. About the spells tiers: Ainz is a 100 lvl character (max lvl possible in Yggdrasil) so 5th tier is not a big deal for him but that doesn't mean it's weak. That being said there are 10 tiers and then some special spells are above the 10 tier.
So magic has 10 normal tiers and Super-tier magic, the Theocracy calls it 11th tier or god tier but its really just spells that violate normal rules. The each tier 'like in D&D' is gained access to at certain levels. In the new world almost no one has higher than 5th tier because most humans don't live long enough to gain those kinds of levels. The few characters who can use higher tiers show up later. Super Tier magic is more like a special skill, a magic user can learn 1 Super Tier spell every level from 70 on (Ainz is max level 100). Unlike normal spells they don't take MP to cast but a caster can use Super Tier 1/day at level 70, 4/day at level 100. The trade off is they take a long time to cast and if you take enough damage the spell will fail. You also can't spam them because casting a Super Tier also puts a timer on you before you can cast Super Tier again. Super Tier also can't be sealed for later casting. The Item equivalent is a World Item, the trade off of those is there is only one of them, they can never be duplicated. The Staff Ainz is carting around is a Guild World Item. Only Ainz can use it and only a guild member can touch it. Ainz's guild was one of the strongest in YGGDRASIL, and every member had at least 1 world item.
So lemme break it down: tier 1-3 is humanly achievable, tier 4 is for very very rare occasions of superhumans, tier 5 is Long lived races who study magic for hundres of years, 6 and 7 is legendary, 8 and 9 is mythical, 10 and super tier is God level. so He's God off the bat.
The magic system is an homage to Dungeons and Dragons. So spell tiers are roughly equal to spell levels. Though the scale of the spells are VERY different.
For the ranking of spells for those from Yggdrasil? They go from 1-10, then Super tier magic, then World Items. ....but for the general public that the guild has been transported to? 4th tier spells are rare for the general public, though not necessarily for everyone in the world they've arrived in.
why i dislike knights: When nepotism prevailed knights were usually wretched in battle and cowards. So what knights almost always did was to avoid combat as much as possible. When they were in battle they had very strong and heavy armor (somewhere around 50-80 kg), you couldn't hurt them, arrows didn't pierce it and many times blows from swords did nothing. The only way to penetrate the armor was with a war hammer or mace that could penetrate it. The infantry were the real soldiers who were dying. If you saw a person with heavy shield armor and a large sword and a soldier with no armor on one end he wished to the second. Plus they weren't chivalrous at all but they weren't. The whole code of chivalry was more like a guideline than a code. For example the knights supposedly protected women, etc., but it does not apply. Many of them waited on bridges where men passed and hunted forced the women to remove a piece of the their clothing. Imagine being a commoner and seeing some knights telling you to put on some piece of clothing and be a peasant and these people could kill you and not get involved or have any repercussions for their actions also if a knight had with him a servant, mistress, wife, etc and they met a group of knights they usually stole or forced the woman to remove a piece of her clothing in order to pass. It was like a test but also to slap to the knight, then they would brag and say something like "you may be a knight but even I forced your wife to undress in front of you, what are you going to do about it fight me?" but it wasn't fair was many against one. Most knights were glorified individuals from wealthy families. The only good knights were peasants or soldiers who survived a few battles someone superior saw them, saw that thet was good in battle rise in the ranks to the rank of knight so he can land, armor etc. It was the real knights who rised through the ranks. The original generation of knights who earned their place, as well as the first kings who went to war and established their kingdom/empire. Their children, grandchildren, etc they were born into wealth and high positions who were the first to retreat in a battle. Even otherwise many of them would not join the battle but watch from somewhere else while they were able break the enemy's lines. Instead they sent the underpaid, starved infantry to fight and fight die
Lemme clear some stuff without spoiler, Touch me name is like u said cause he was DAMN OP in yagrashil yggdrasil Sebastian the butler is considered one of the kindest in nazarik, u can check the characters sheets on Google to find their stats/some infos/and their karma value(good or bad) The tier magic system goes from 1 to 10 with and extra tier which is super tier magic Grasp heart is Ainz fav spell cause it kills instantly if the enemy is weaker than the caster,if not it can stun the enemy, which is perfect for exploring cause it gives u time to run away with gate or teleportation magic In the new world ig the highest magic the can achieve is 6 tier, anything above considered impossible by the human standards The kingdom that around nazarik are The theocracy which is a religious country with a huge military power The baharuth empire with the best management ig Re'estize which is complete chaos Death knights considered one the best defensive summons, Not only can turn anyone into a zombie after killing them, which mean one man army but it can also tank any attack no matter what and still got 1hp Albedo is a baddie
Just a little correction- in the New World,tier 1-3 is humanly achievable,4 is very rare for humans. Level 6 is almost impossible for a human to achieve,cuz the tier itself is Legendary.
@@Some_tunisian_punk well,it was a 7th tier spell,but the thing is Nigun wasn't the one who casted it. The spell was sealed within a crystal that happened to be an item from Yggdrasil.
The Magic Tiers are simular / Inspired by DnD (Dungeons&Dragons) as far as I know, they go upwards to 9th tier + Godtier (10th) and 11th Tier (World Magic) in this World.

9:30 "Army" isn't really the right term. "Troop" would be more accurate. The item summons a small number of low level goblins. In Yggdrasil, it's a trash item so Ainz doesn't even think twice about giving the horns to some random person because they hold absolutely no value to him.
The players and the NPC's from game can use upto 10th level of magic there is 11th level but only players can use them ,but in the new world they can only use magic upto level 6 and level 7 and 8 is considered g0d's magic they don't even know that there is level 9,10,11 exists
The magic tier in this Isekai is low. Regular mage can cast low tier of lvl 1 and mid tier of lvl 2, lvl 3 is considered peak high tier magic. But in rare occasions there are 1 or 2 that broken through the 4th tier. Any others tier is thanks to artifacts or magic items. But Ainz who's reach peak character lvl can use 10th tier so to the isekai people their seeing natural disaster level magic that shouldn't exist
