Who remembers watching Rap city at 4:00PM, 106th and Park at 6:00PM, then The movie premiere of Baby boy at 8. Then Bet uncut at 3am when you had to get up extra early for school in the morning.
If I could choose another university to attend, I’d go to Howard - hands down, for sure. I wish I would have known how strong the Howard network was back when I applied to college. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Sounds likes a good opportunity. Those types of environments such as at HBCUs should be displayed more, especially in the mainstream. Hopefully, it gets picked up and takes off.
